Two lovely bathrooms make morning routines easy and ef­fort­less – one of which is equipped with both a spa and sauna, offering you a bit of extra luxury after a long vacation day. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, a utility room provides practical solutions for handling small chal­len­ges like laundry and storing strollers, outerwear, and shoes.
Enjoy life outside: Outside, adventure awaits. The large and sturdy tipi, which can ac­com­moda­te up to 10 people, offers unique to­get­her­ness and coziness. With a large fire pit in the center, you can gather around the flames, tell stories from the old days, make bread on sticks, and grill. It's just as cozy if it rains, as you sit sheltered and dry under colorful lights. The expansive lawn invites play and ball games, while the terrace that wraps around half of the house provides plenty of space for re­laxa­tion. Part of the terrace is covered, so you can enjoy outdoor life when the dew falls and re­gard­less of the weather. Children will love the play­gro­und with a swing, slide, and sandbox, where they can spend hours having fun and playing. There is beautiful ve­ge­ta­tion sur­ro­un­ding almost the entire property.
Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions: This summer house is located in a scenic area in northern Djursland. The nearby beach at Store Sjørup is one of Djursland's unique bathing areas. Here, you first encounter a fjord-like bottom by the coast, but as you step out into the shallow water, you find sandbanks and the open sea stret­ching as far as the eye can see. The beach almost resembles a tidal flat, with no­ti­ceab­le dif­fe­ren­ces between high and low tide, tidal channels, and small saltwater lakes. About 10 km from the house, you will find the cozy ferry port Udbyhøj, with a small marina and good fishing op­portu­ni­ties. From here, you can take a cable ferry to the Randers side, where you will be greeted by a lovely white beach with a Blue Flag and some of Denmark's cleanest bathing water. If ferry rides aren't your thing, we recommend a trip along the north coast. It’s a beautiful route, perfect for both cycling and hiking. If you desire more nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, a visit to the Coastal and Fjord Center is highly recom­men­ded, as are Gl. Estrup Manor, the ancient burial mounds at Tustrup, and Scan­di­navi­a's largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land. Overall, Djursland is wonderful, and if you need more, Randers and Aarhus are just nearby.
