Close to the beautiful Gjerrild Nord­s­trand, you’ll find this lovely holiday home, which combines spa­cious­ness with a warm, homely at­mosp­he­re. The house features a well-thought-out layout, creating the perfect setting for to­get­her­ness and quality time. The kitchen is well-equipped and opens into both the dining area and living room, where there’s plenty of space to relax and enjoy each other’s company after a day filled with wonderful acti­vi­ties. From the living room, there are several exits leading to the terrace, so you can easily enjoy fresh air and listen to the birds singing in the treetops. The house has four bedrooms – two with double beds, one with four bunk beds, and one with a sofa bed. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, there’s a bathroom, a guest toilet, and a practical utility room with a washing machine, so you can quickly get the holiday laundry done if needed.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, you’ll find a lovely, flat garden that is almost enclosed, providing peace and privacy to relax and enjoy your holiday. There’s plenty of room for both play and re­laxa­tion, and you might even get a visit from a deer, standing on the lawn, soaking up the morning sun. The terrace wraps around the entire house and offers plenty of sun spots where you can find a cozy corner to unwind. The sun loungers are ready to welcome you whenever you want to recharge, and with the barbecue just steps away, it’s easy to prepare a delicious holiday meal.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Gjerrild Strand is a peaceful and pi­c­tu­resque area that attracts nature lovers and those who ap­pre­ci­a­te the beautiful coastline. The beach is child-friendly, and the sur­ro­un­ding deciduous forests make the area fantastic to explore all year round. There are small paths and bike routes leading you along Djursland’s northern coast – a perfect spot to get some fresh air and immerse yourself in nature. The area is also popular among local fishermen, who enjoy the tranquil coastal en­viron­ment.

On your way to the house, you’ll pass through the charming village of Gjerrild, where you can stop by the local shop or enjoy a meal at the inn, which serves tra­di­tio­nal Danish dishes. If you’re in­te­r­e­sted in history, you can take a short trip to Sostrup Castle, which always has exciting acti­vi­ties and events to offer.

Grenaa is just 15 km away, where you can stroll through the cozy pe­de­stri­an streets or visit the Kattegat Center to meet sharks and penguins. From Grenaa, you can also catch the ferry to Anholt or Sweden. For more ad­ven­tu­res, Djurs Som­mer­land, Ebeltoft, Mols Bjerge National Park, Ree Park, and the Scan­di­navi­an Wildlife Park are all just a short drive away, offering plenty of fun ex­pe­ri­en­ces for both young and old.
