The garden is expansive and almost completely flat, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor games and activities. There’s even a football goal, and if you’re lucky, the trees might have plums or other treats to pick. The delightful wooden terrace, partially covered, is perfect for enjoying dinner in the open air.
Get up close to the local attractions
The house is located close to the fjord, where you’ll find Denmark’s last cable ferry crossing Randers Fjord. It’s also just about 500 meters from a great beach, making it a good idea to pack your fishing rod along with your swimwear. The area is rich in birdlife and part of Naturpark Randers Fjord, where the fresh water from the Gudenå River meets the salty waters of the Kattegat. Explore local attractions such as Djurs Sommerland, Scandinavian Wildlife Park, and the historic Gammel Estrup Manor, or some of the other wonderful experiences Djursland has to offer, with its outstanding natural beauty.You’ll also find short driving distances to Aarhus, Aalborg, and Randers, all of which are brimming with city life, culture, shopping, and dining options. Visit Aros or Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus, enjoy Aalborg’s modern waterfront with stunning architecture and a renowned zoo, or take a trip to Randers to explore Elvis’ museum “Graceland” or the Randers Rainforest.
