Charming village house in the middle of Samsø in modern and cosy style

Enjoy a holiday in this beautiful and newly renovated house in the small town of Tanderup with about 1.5 km to the sea by dirt roads. The house, which used to be a grocer's farm, is now a stylish and modern accommodation that offers a very special holiday experience.

Interior

The open kitchen, living room and dining room are all together the heart of the house. In this spacious room a lot of light comes in through the windows facing east and west. The kitchen is new and modern with a large central kitchen-island with built-in sink and water boiler as well as dishwasher and hob. It makes plenty of space for everyone to join in the kitchen and enjoy preparing meals together. Off the kitchen is the dining table, where there is plenty of space for all the house guests to look out into the garden from the dining area. From the kitchen there is access to a very nice, partly covered terrace facing west. It is therefore perfect to bring your meals out here and enjoy the peaceful garden.

Connected to the kitchen and dining table is the living room with a comfortable sofa and a wood stove in the middle of the room, which gives warmth and coziness to the whole kitchen/living room. Throughout the house is a beautiful pine floor that connects the kitchen, living room and bedrooms in an aesthetic manner. From the living room there is access to the entrance hall, which is also a functional utility room with storage space and a washing machine. There is also a heat pump, which is the main heating source of the house.

The house has three good bedrooms, one of which has a nice double French door with entrance from the living room. Two of the house's rooms have comfortable double beds, while the third room has a sofa bed that sleeps two. The rooms are bright with cosy decor, so here it is possible for a total of 6 people to enjoy the tranquility of village life on Samsø.

The bathroom, like the rest of the house, has been recently renovated, so it appears bright and well furnished with a separate shower with a large showerhead, floor tiles and good storage space.

At the south end of the house there is a small holiday apartment with its own entrance, where other holiday guests can stay. Still, you are completely unencumbered in this fine holiday home in cosy Tanderup.

Outdoors

The house has a lovely, covered terrace where you can bring your meals and enjoy the view over the large, unspoilt garden. As the terrace is covered and sheltered between the walls, you can spend many pleasant hours on the cosy terrace.

The garden is large with a lawn that provides space for ball games and enjoying the green surroundings. In the garden there are several older trees and bushes, which allows you to be here completely undisturbed.

The house is close to the road, but there is parking in front.

The area

Tanderup is a cosy, small village centrally located on Samsø, only 4 kilometres from Sælvig and the ferry to Jutland and 2.5 kilometres from Samsø's largest town Tranebjerg. In addition, it is only about 1,5 kilometer to the water and Samsø's west coast. Here is a pebble beach but lovely sunsets and good opportunities for fishing.

Around Samsø there are many small, cosy villages that are always worth a visit. Here you can find great cafés, small speciality shops, local craftsmen and flea shops.

In Tranebjerg are grocery stores as well as various specialty shops, restaurants, and the island's tourist information. On the eastern coast is the cosy harbour town of Ballen, which in summer is bustling with boats, restaurants and intimate concerts. Ballen also has a lovely sandy beach and jetty.

If you head further north, don't miss a walk in the beautiful Nordby Hills, followed by a visit to idyllic Nordby. Here are also shops and restaurants open all year round. There is a cycle path all the way from Nordby to Tranebjerg, so it's easy to cycle around Samsø and experience the island up close.
