Summer house at Mårup Øster­strand, close to beach and with gu­a­ran­te­ed cosiness

This cosy summer house at the popular Mårup Øster­strand, offers classic summer house - holidays and a lovely green garden.

Your holiday is gu­a­ran­te­ed to be cosy in this fine wooden holiday home on northern Samsø.

The house of 50 sqm has room for 4 people. Throug­hout the house there are wooden walls and ceilings, which gives a special sum­mer­hou­se at­mosp­he­re. However, the summer house is still bright and inviting with good windows and a light decor.

The living room is the gathering room of the house with a wood-burning stove and access to a lovely, covered terrace. Next to the wood-burning stove is a sofa which make a perfect cosy corner, and here you can also turn on the TV. If you prefer to make use of the internet, WiFi is available in the house.

Opposite the sofa corner is a dining table with a lovely light from the transom windows. The dining table is next to the kitchen, which is in con­nection with the living room, but at the same time a room of its own. The kitchen has space for cooking and storage, and the window above the kitchen table and from the living room provide daylight into the kitchen. The kitchen is white and offers eve­ryt­hing you need for your holiday meals, including a cooker, oven, fridge/freezer and dis­hwas­her.

From the kitchen there is access to the first bedroom with a com­fortab­le double bed, bedside lamps and storage space. Cosy wooden walls remain here with lovely windows looking out onto the enclosed garden.
From the kitchen, you enter the hallway and the entrance of the house, where you have access to another similar bedroom with two single beds.

Off the hallway is also the bathroom, which is not large, but here you will find the most basic, a toilet and a sink. Notice: The shower is outside. The shower is in an enclosed outhouse, which gives you the ex­pe­ri­en­ce of taking an outdoor bath where you can feel the fresh air while standing in a private space.

The washing machine and cleaning materials are also located here in the out­bu­il­ding.

Outdoor
The summer house has a lovely large plot, which is green and enclosed by trees, bushes and a woodshed, so you can enjoy being here com­ple­te­ly un­dis­tur­bed. The lawn has plenty of space for games, playing ball and enjoying the outdoors - maybe spot a deer passing through the garden. In the garden is a shed with firewood, outdoor shower and washing machine. This is a fun­ctio­nal out­bu­il­ding which furt­her­more shield the garden from the sur­ro­un­dings.

With access from the living room is a covered south facing terrace. It is perfect to take your meals out and sit in the garden chairs, where there is a good view of the garden.

Location
The summer house is located in a lovely, peaceful and green summer house area at Mårup Øster­strand. On foot it is only about 350 meters to the beach, which is one of Samsø's best beaches. Here is sand and perfectly clear water.

Mårup is only 1.3 ki­lo­metres from the house, where there is a grocery store, bike rental, cafe and gallery. Mårup harbour is a bit further away, and here is a cosy harbour life and a re­stau­rant by the water. 2 ki­lo­metres from the summer house is Nordby, which has been voted one of Europe's best preserved villages. Here you'll find an idyllic street pond and an iconic bell tower. However, there are also great op­portu­ni­ties to enjoy an ice cream, eat in a re­stau­rant or browse in small local shops.

Around Nordby and the nort­her­n­most point, Issehoved, there are beautiful hiking trails not to be missed when visiting Samsø. It is possible to park several places in the area, and in­spira­tion for the hiking routes can be found at VisitSamsø.

If you head further south, you can visit Langør, a charming harbour town on the east side. There is a fish re­stau­rant here in summer and you can visit Samsø Nature School, which is beau­ti­ful­ly situated by Stauns Fjord.

The south island of Samsø has various small villages that are easy to cycle between. Here you can find many small shops, galleries and cafes. In Ballen in summer there is plenty of life with several re­stau­rants, many yachts and good op­portu­ni­ties to find a small concert. There is also a well-visited and beautiful bathing beach.
