The main gathering space is the kitchen-dining room, where the open-plan kitchen is connected to the dining table and sofa corner. The dining table and sofa have large windows from which you can fully enjoy the view of the beach and the sea. Around the dining table, there's plenty of space for all your guests, and from here it's easy to talk to those in the kitchen or those who is allready sitting in the sofa. The living room is cosily furnished with a sofa corner, and it's ideal to relax here with a game or turn on the TV and watch a movie after a day of adventures on Samsø.
In the kitchen, there's plenty of space for you to help each other prepare your holiday meals, whether you want to eat inside at the dining table or outside on the terrace.
The four good-sized bedrooms are all equipped with a comfortable double bed, storage space and windows overlooking the green surroundings. Two of the rooms even have a wall-mounted TV. So it's perfect for both adults and children, who can organise themselves as they see fit.
There are two bathrooms in the house, the main bathroom is bright and inviting with direct access to the terrace facing the sea. This bathroom also has a sauna and a washing machine and tumble dryer, so all the necessities for enjoying your holiday are taken care of. The smaller bathroom provides extra comfort when you have up to 8 guests in the house.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is just 50 metres from one of Samsø's best beaches, so it doesn't get much easier to walk down to the beach and enjoy the surroundings and take a swim.
In front is another holiday home, but with the staggered location, it is still possible to enjoy the view of the sea. The house has two large terraces. One terrace is east-facing and here you can admire the sea view while enjoying your meals or morning coffee to a beautiful sunrise. There are also a couple of sun loungers, so when the weather permits, you can completely relax here.
The opposite terrace offers evening sun and shade, and here you'll also find a barbecue that can be used for holiday meals. The house is located on an open plot in the quiet and beautiful holiday home area, Mårup Østerstrand, so the view of the surroundings is preserved, but you can still enjoy the peace and quiet of your holiday.
Get up close to the local attractions
Mårup Østerstrand north is a lovely, quiet holiday home area, and along the northern east coast there is a sandy beach where it is great for swimming.
Just 2 kilometres from the holiday home is Mårup, where you'll find a grocery store, cafés and bike rental. On the opposite coast is Mårup Harbour, a cosy little marina with a restaurant in the summer and good hiking routes. It's also always worth a visit to the village named Nordby, known for its pretty street pond and iconic clock tower. There are also several restaurants and great ice-cream parlours.
With its hilly glacial landscape, Samsø's north island is always beautiful to experience regardless of the season. Samsø's northernmost point Issehoved and the highest point Ballebjerg are always beautiful and here you can go for some lovely walks.
Along the bay of Sælvig and out to Langør, it's beautiful to cycle and explore nature along the coast.
On the narrowest part of Samsø, you pass the Kanhave Canal, which was the Panama Canal of the Viking Age. It is easy to cycle between Samsø's 22 villages and many of the small towns have shops, cafés, a street pond or a gallery. In the largest town, Tranebjerg, there are good shopping opportunities, as well as several restaurants, the Samsø Museum and the tourist information centre. In the harbour town of Ballen, there is plenty of life in the summer with restaurants, shops and small concerts, so there is always something to do here.
Travelling further south, you can visit the forest at Brattingborg and climb Vesborg Lighthouse for views across Samsø and all the way to Funen, Jutland and Zealand.
