Bright holiday home with sauna, hot tub and 200 meters to a lovely beach on Samsø

We look forward to welcome you to this lovely holiday home on the northern part of Samsø. The house can ac­com­moda­te up to 8 adults, who can enjoy their holiday and make use of the spa and sauna.

Welcome inside
The house is a bright, architect-designed holiday home that invites you to a cosy and com­fortab­le holiday on Samsø. There is room for a total of 8 guests, and both children and adults can look forward to a holiday here.

The kitchen is open-plan and there are windows over­look­ing the garden and the east-facing terrace. So there's plenty of light coming in and you can enjoy the coastal views. Around the dining table, there's space for you all to enjoy meals together. When the weather permits, a garden door opens directly onto the terrace and you can eat your meals outside.

A few steps from the kitchen lead to the living room, which is another lovely common room with windows facing east and the green garden. In the sofa corner, you can curl up with a good book or switch on the TV and relax after a day of ad­ven­tu­res on Samsø. A loft overlooks the living room, where you can retreat a little and not miss anything happening in the kitchen or living room. From the loft you can also enjoy the view through the large window in the gable.

The holiday home has three good-sized double bedrooms and one room with single beds. All rooms have storage space and good windows facing the green garden and the sur­ro­un­ding grounds.
There are also two bathrooms for extra comfort on your holiday. The master bathroom even has a hot tub and sauna. Your holiday doesn't get much better than this in a sum­mer­hou­se!

The house has a cosy style with light wooden walls and ceilings and an at­mosp­he­re of being close to the beach and nature. All the necessary and even extra com­fortab­le fa­ci­li­ties are provided, so you can look forward to a wonderful holiday here at Maarup Øster­strand.

Enjoy life outside
Sur­ro­un­ding the holiday home is a lovely plot of land sur­ro­un­ded by shrubs and trees, so you can enjoy your time here un­dis­tur­bed. There are also two nice terraces with garden furniture where you can sit outside.
In front of the house is a terrace facing west, so you can sit in the shade and enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. From the kitchen and living room there is also a garden door to a wooden terrace. It's ideal to sit out here and enjoy your holiday meals in peace and quiet.

Outside you'll also find a shed/outdoor room with an extra fridge-freezer, parasol, garden cushions etc. There's plenty of parking at the house, so the pra­cti­ca­li­ties are taken care of and all you have to do is look forward to arriving.

Get close to local ex­pe­ri­en­ces
Maarup Øster­strand is a lovely, quiet holiday home area on northern Samsø. Just 200 metres from the holiday home is a lovely beach with sand and clear water. Mårup town is just 1 kilometre from the house and here you'll find shopping, bike hire and cafés. Mårup harbour on the western coast of Samsø is a cosy little harbour with a re­stau­rant and life in the summer from the boats mooring there.

In the Nordby hills there are many op­portu­ni­ties for beautiful walks. You can walk along the coast and enjoy the view of the Kattegat. Issehoved is the nort­her­n­most point of Samsø and is always worth a visit. Nordby is a charming village just 3 ki­lo­metres from the holiday home, where you can see the iconic clock tower, the street pond in the middle of town or enjoy an ice cream or lunch in one of the town's cafés and re­stau­rants.

In addition to many lovely walks, it is also ideal to cycle around Samsø and visit the cosy villages. On the southern part of Samsø you can visit Ballen, one of Samsø's most popular harbour towns. In the summer there is a wide range of re­stau­rants and acti­vi­ties. The largest town on Samsø is Tra­neb­jerg, with several shopping op­portu­ni­ties, cosy specialty shops, cafés and a museum.

Samsø offers a wide range of nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, from Issehoved in the north to Brat­tings­borg forest in the south. In addition, the charming villages and good local produce help to create a good and eventful holiday home holiday.
