Welcome inside
If the weather calls for cozy indoor re­laxa­tion, that’s certainly not a problem, as the summer house is both well-main­tai­ned and well-furnished. The living space is a de­light­ful place to spend your time: The walls are in­vi­ting­ly adorned with light wooden paneling, and the vaulted ceiling adds a nice touch, while a wood-burning stove stands ready in one corner for cold days. The room is spacious, so in addition to com­fortab­le seating and a dining table, there is ample space for a well-equipped kitchen area where you can enjoy cooking projects—both healthy and a bit indulgent. The layout also includes three good bedrooms and a bathroom with a sauna, which is perfect after a walk in the windy weather when you need to warm up properly.

Enjoy life outside
When the summer sun is shining, it’s probably more tempting to sit out on the terrace rather than go to the sauna. The terrace faces south, so at midday, you’ll be basking in the sun while sitting here. In that case, you can find shade in one of the covered areas, which are also perfect spots to relax in when the day winds down and you enjoy bar­becu­ing and good con­ver­sa­tions.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The natural plot opens up to an open area, giving you a nice taste of the beautiful nature that Rømø is adorned with. The island features heath-covered areas, plan­ta­tions, and expansive sandy beaches, and Rømø is sur­ro­un­ded by the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site—only one of seven locations in Denmark. If you play golf, there is a lovely golf course in Havneby, and at Sønder­strand, you can engage in block karting and other forms of water sports. Lakolk Strand is a wonderful place for the whole family to swim—and if you prefer a water park, you can drive over the Rømø dam to the mainland, where you have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret.
