Description
You can look forward to a wonderful holiday when you spend it in this beautiful and well-furnished wooden summer house in Kongsmark in the heart of Rømø.
Welcome inside
The balance between classic summer house charm and luxurious comfort is truly effective in this house, which was built in 1986 and renovated in 2009. The sloping walls with rustic wooden paneling add plenty of personality to the house, which is also filled with lovely features—including a stylish open kitchen and a bathroom with a hot tub. If you’d like to combine the relaxing hot tub with a visit to the sauna, that is definitely possible, as there is a sauna in the annex next to the summer house. The aforementioned kitchen is integrated with the living room, and overall, it creates a particularly cozy living space, even featuring a wood-burning stove and lovely natural light coming from three corners of the room. There are three bedrooms, all furnished with double beds.
Enjoy life outside
A large part of your holiday will likely be spent outdoors when the weather gods are in a warm mood. In any case, you have access to a huge sunny wooden terrace, and there is plenty of space for playing, kicking a ball, and lounging in the lovely garden, which also features a swing set, sandbox, and trampoline for the youngest family members. Part of the terrace is covered, so on a beautiful summer evening, you can easily stay outside even when the dew begins to fall.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is wonderfully located in a cozy area surrounded by protected natural spaces. If you want to go on a forest trip, it’s not far to Kirkeby Plantation, which offers a delightful natural playground and good hiking trails that lead on to the viewpoint Spidsbjerg. A trip to the beach is almost mandatory when you are just a few kilometers from the family-friendly Lakolk Strand and the North Sea. The Wadden Sea is, of course, also an important attraction here on Rømø, as this unique tidal area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, one of only seven places in Denmark. You can admire the panoramic view of the Wadden Sea, for example, when you drive across the Rømø dam to the mainland.
