The house is po­si­tio­ned in the front row to the beach, allowing you to gaze over the rolling dune landscape from the living room and terrace. If you look to the east, there’s also a view of an expansive nature area from both the annex and the house.

Welcome inside
The summer house is a beautiful and classic wooden property from 1958, which has been renovated in a gentle and tasteful manner using allergy-friendly, non-toxic materials. The at­mosp­he­re indoors is light and inviting – and this is not only due to the cozy decor in soft tones but also the open layout that invites daylight in from several corners. The many windows also reveal the view, espe­ci­al­ly in the living area, where you can see far to both the east and west. The natural sur­ro­un­dings can even be enjoyed while cooking in the well-equipped open kitchen area, which includes ceramic cooktops, a co­un­ter­top oven, and a juice maker. The wood-burning stove and the cozy TV nook also con­tri­bu­te to the charm of the living room, and the other rooms of the house – a bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds – maintain the same inviting style.

Enjoy life outside
As mentioned, you are neighbors to Lakolk's dune area, and the house’s natural plot almost blends in with the beau­ti­ful­ly un­du­lat­ing coastal landscape. Near the summer house, there are several terrace areas to choose from: If you want to overlook the dunes, you can sit on the west-facing or south-facing terrace, while the east terrace is a lovely spot to enjoy the morning sun and the green sur­ro­un­dings.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From the natural grounds of the summer house, you can head straight out into the beautiful sur­ro­un­dings. The paths in the dune landscape are perfect if you want to hike or go for a run – and of course, you can make your way down to Lakolk Beach, where you can inhale the fresh sea air and gaze far out over the North Sea. Lakolk is a lovely bathing beach, and there is also the op­portu­ni­ty for windsur­fing and even driving right onto the wide beach area. If you need to do some shopping, Lakolk Shopping Center is nearby, and you might even be tempted to have a meal at one of the local cafes. If you feel like an outing after lunch, there’s plenty to ex­pe­ri­en­ce on Rømø, from mini-golf, horseback riding, golfing, and wind sports to guided oyster tours, where you get an up-close ex­pe­ri­en­ce of the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
