Newly renovated holiday house in 2nd row with sea view and lovely terraces – Saksild Strand

Welcome to this lovely holiday house only 30 meters from Saksild Strand. The house is renovated in 2019 and 2020 and appears bright and modern eve­rywhe­re. It is a wonderful setting to enjoy your holiday and stay in with family or friends.

The modern kitchen from 2019 contains eve­ryt­hing, you are going to need during your stay. Moreover, there is induction hobs and Quooker, as well as an extra­ction module, if you want more table space.
The living room lies in direct con­nection to the kitchen and has a nice eating place, as well as a sofa and furniture, from where the wood stove and TV can be enjoyed, all while the lovely view is cap­ti­vat­ing. There is direct exit to the wooden terraces on both sides of the house.

There are three nice bedrooms all with good double beds.
The renovated bathroom is bright and nice with WC and shower.
For the guests with small children there is a baby chair, cot, and baby tub.

Outdoor
New wooden terraces on three sides of the house, which creates a big op­portu­ni­ty for the nice outdoor life. To the west and south there is a com­ple­te­ly un­dis­tur­bed area in the garden, where there is a covered terrace next to the kitchen as well as a covered lounge area. The garden is cozy with many nice shelter nooks, so you can always find a place to stay.

There is several nice garden furniture, hammock, loungers, and the covered lounge area will de­fi­ni­te­ly be used di­li­gent­ly during your stay. Here you can stay un­dis­tur­bed during the day and in the evening, you can gather the family and friends to some fun after a long day at the lovely beach. Here it is obvious to prepare the dinner at the terrace on the grill with con­clu­ding coziness and twist bread by the campfire.
There is also an outdoor shower, which is practical and at the same time re­fres­hing at all times of the year.

There are two adult bikes and a children´s bike at the house. These you are very welcome to use during your stay.
The bicycles are used in the condition they are in and at your own risk.

Location
The holiday house is located only 30 m. from the Eastern Jutland´s very best bathing beach. The sand beach is very child friendly and has “Blue flag”.

In walking distance is Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries.

In Saksild you will find Denmark´s oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty big ice cream.

The little cozy harbor town Norsminde is not far away, and here you can enjoy an ice cream or eat at the reputable Norsminde Kro.

If you like an active vacation, it can e.g. unfold by the water, on a bike, or hiking in the beautiful nature of the area.

From Hou there is daily ferry crossings to the islands Tunø and Samsø. So, it is obvious with a day trip to one of the cozy islands.

The bowling center “Kuglen & Keglen” in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family, both big and small.

8 km. from the holiday house is Odder, which offers the cozy pe­de­stri­an street with nice shopping op­portu­ni­ties, large selection of grocery stores and nice at­tra­ctions. Here you can visit “Denmark´s largest Kvickly” which has good offers and nice ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

Odder Kysten is obvious for hiking and bike rides. Bicycle maps with theme routes can be down­lo­a­ded from Vi­si­tod­der.dk's website.

Half an hour drive from there you can enjoy and ex­pe­ri­en­ce Aarhus, which is the second largest city in Denmark. Here you will find e.g. Den Gamle By, art museum Aros, shopping center Bruuns Galleri and Tivoli Friheden. The city offers a large selection of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, shopping, and many nice eating places.
