We welcome you to a stylish decorated sum­mer­hou­se with a unique location in the first line to Hølken beach - Here you get the feeling of living in a real beach house.

In this house attention has been paid to the details both inside and out. The maritime and relaxed at­mosp­he­re is im­me­di­a­te­ly recog­nizab­le when you step inside.

Open the double patio door and it feels like you are in the nature. The terrace extends the living space of the house and opens up to a fantastic view of the Kattegat-sea, Tunø, Samsø and Mols.

The 40 m2 sum­mer­hou­se is cosily furnished with eve­ryt­hing you need for a holiday in the most beautiful sur­ro­un­dings. There is 1 bedroom with a com­fortab­le double bed (160x200) and a lovely and com­fortab­le sofa bed in the living room (160x200). The bathroom has a shower, and the heat pump provides heating when it's cold and cooling when the tem­pe­ra­tu­res are warm.

In 2023, the 8 m2 shed - which is directly connected to the house - was newly renovated so that in summer it can be enjoyed as an extra cosy living space with a small workplace at a folding desk. In winter, this is where the house's garden furniture etc. is stored.

The kitchen (from 2023) is very modern and fun­ctio­nal, and it is in open con­nection to the living room. The living room has a dining table, sofa bed, books and of course a TV with a large TV package with Danish, German, Norwegian and Swedish TV channels.

Outdoors
The lovely terraces allow you to enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. Relax in the garden furniture and enjoy a glass of rosé or bring it to the beach just 10 metres away. When it's time to enjoy your evening meal, you can open the parasol a step down and have some more privacy. A gas barbecue is available, making it easy to prepare your evening meals outside. The sun and afternoon naps can be enjoyed on 2 sun loungers.

An outdoor shower with hot/cold water is available to rinse off sand and salt after a swim in the sea.

Area
The sum­mer­hou­se has a unique location with an un­ri­val­led panoramic view of the sea.

The house is located at Hølken beach, which is a good and child-friendly sandy beach. Here you can watch the sunrise and, if you're lucky, see porpoises playing in the water. In the peaceful sum­mer­hou­se area, you can relax and enjoy a peaceful and re-ener­gizing holiday.

In the area you can go cycling and hiking while enjoying the beautiful nature. It is also possible to walk along the coast to the small harbour town of Hou.

From Hou, there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Samsø and Tunø. So a day trip to one of these cosy islands is an obvious choice.

In the local area you will find several exciting spe­ci­a­li­ty shops and galleries with art exhi­bi­tions from local artists. Here we can recommend Fru Møllers Mølleri, Køst, and GROFT, which are all worth a visit.

With a 40-minute drive you can be in Horsens, which is beau­ti­ful­ly situated at the end of Horsens Fjord. Horsens also has a pe­de­stri­an street with various and good shopping op­portu­ni­ties. In addition, there is also a rich cultural life in Horsens, where you can visit both the In­du­stri­al Museum and Horsens Art Museum. There are ex­pe­ri­en­ces for the whole family. 

In just over half an hour by car, you can also reach Jutland's largest city, Aarhus. So it's easy to get from the sum­mer­hou­se to a city that offers eve­ryt­hing you could wish for in terms of city life, re­stau­rants, shops and cultural events. Aarhus hosts the annual Aarhus Festuge in August-September and the Northside festival in June. In addition, you can also visit the famous art museum Aros or the historic visitor centre, Den Gamle By. It is also possible to take the railway from Odder directly into the center of Aarhus.
