It is a great pleasure to welcome you to this newly built house very close to the beautiful beach of Saksild. The house is well furnished and ideal for a cosy and relaxing holiday in modern sur­ro­un­dings, for the whole family. The house has 4 good bedrooms, a large loft, an alcove, open kitchen, large living room, 2 nice bathrooms, activity room and a luxurious outdoor spa.

The sleeping ac­com­moda­tion is di­stri­bu­ted over three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, a loft with mattres­ses and an alcove with 2 beds. There is also a baby high chair and a baby cot for the little ones.

The heart of the house is the large bright kitchen, where the kitchen includes eve­ryt­hing you need during your stay of modern fa­ci­li­ties. Directly connected to the kitchen is a large dining area and a cozy sofa area, where you can gather after a fun day at the beach and enjoy board games, puzzles, chat and maybe watch a movie on the TV wit­h­Chro­mecast and TV with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels. The TV can be rotated to turn the alcove into a snuggly movie corner for the kids.

Many hours will certainly be spent playing games and having fun in the activity room, where you can compete with the family in foosball, table tennis or pool. Or maybe watch a movie on the TV with built-in Chro­mecast and TV package with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels. There are two bathrooms in the house both with toilet, shower and towel dryer. One bathroom has an indoor spa, sauna and door to the re­fres­hing outdoor shower, which you will de­fi­ni­te­ly want to use while you are here. The other bathroom has a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can wash your beach towels after a long day at the beach.

Outdoor

There are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to spend time outdoors during your stay. The terrace sur­ro­un­ding the house has several garden furniture, sun loungers and a parasol. You can prepare several of the daily meals on the house's gas grill and enjoy them on the terrace. There is plenty of space in the garden for playing and the heated outdoor spa will be a big hit all year round. And with the best sandy beaches 400m from the house, you're sure to enjoy a swim and long walks - also in the winter months. There is a shelter in the garden of the house, so perhaps an overnight stay could be tempting. In the shed there are 3 folding mattres­ses that can be used in the shelter.

For the little ones there is a play tower with a slide and a sandbox.

In the driveway there is plenty of space for parking up to six cars and if you arrive in an electric car there is a charging station here.

Location

The summer house is located only 400 m. from East Jutland's best beach. The sandy beach very child-friendly and the water is shallow. Within walking distance is Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries and a new mini golf course.

In Saksild you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat delicious ice cream. It is not far to the small cozy harbor town of Norsminde, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the reputable Norsminde Kro. If you are into active holidays, you can for example enjoy the water, cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area.

From Hou there is a daily ferry con­nection to the islands of Samsø and Tunø. So a day trip to one of the charming islands is a must. 8 km. from the house is Odder, which offers the most charming street with fine shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and fine sights. Visit here "Denmark's largest Kvickly" a su­per­mar­ket which offers many good deals and fine ex­pe­ri­en­ces. The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit. There are many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family, both big and small.

A half-hour drive away is Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, which can be enjoyed and ex­pe­ri­en­ced. Here you will find, among others, Den gamle By (the Old Town), the art museum AROS, Moesgaard Museum, the shopping centre Bruuns Galleri and the Tivoli Friheden. The city offers a wide range of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, shopping and many fine dining options.

Right now, new beautiful holiday homes are being built, creating a real holiday paradise with a short distance to water and beautiful nature. This also means that at times you may ex­pe­ri­en­ce noise from the nearby con­struction work.
