From the living room, a door opens to a covered terrace – why not take your coffee outside and enjoy a moment of inner peace while the children play on the lawn?The kitchen also leads to two charming bedrooms with double beds, a utility room with a washing machine and space for a stroller, and a lovely bathroom with a spa and sauna – the perfect blend of coziness and con­ve­ni­en­ce. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, there’s an annex featuring a double bed and bunk beds. The annex has a radiator but is best suited for spring, summer, and autumn stays.

There’s a tram­po­li­ne, swings, and a sandbox for the youngest family members, and the enclosed garden allows you to keep an eye on both children and dogs. If you’re in the mood for some fresh sea air or a swim, the de­light­ful, child-friendly beach is just 550 meters away, with shallow waters re­mi­ni­s­cent of the Wadden Sea.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions The house is located in a stunning natural area in northern Djursland. The beach at Store Sjørup is one of Djursland’s most unique coastal spots. Near the shore, the seabed has a fjord-like character, but as you walk through the shallow water, you’ll reach sandbanks and a view of the open sea stret­ching to the horizon. The beach is re­mi­ni­s­cent of the Wadden Sea, with distinct tides, tidal channels, and saltwater pools.About 10 km from the house is the small ferry port at Udbyhøj, which features a cozy marina and excellent fishing op­portu­ni­ties. From here, you can take the cable ferry to the Randers side. On the other side, you’ll find a lovely white beach with a Blue Flag and some of Denmark’s cleanest bathing waters. If ferries aren’t your thing, a visit to Fjellerup, just 20 minutes from the house, is highly recom­men­ded. Fjellerup boasts a beautiful sandy beach and Denmark’s best waffle shop!For other nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, a visit to the Coast and Fjord Center is a great choice. Hi­sto­ri­cal sites like Gl. Estrup Castle, the Tustrup Dolmens, and the Nordics’ largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, are also highly recom­men­ded. Djursland offers a wealth of exciting ad­ven­tu­res for everyone.
