Fjellerup Strand is a historic fishing village located in an at­tra­cti­ve holiday area along the North Djursland coast. The beach is very child-friendly, with dunes, hollows, shallow waters, a sandy seabed, and a Blue Flag cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. The nature in and around Fjellerup is stunning and diverse, featuring many hiking trails and small roads perfect for cycling. Along the coast, there are great op­portu­ni­ties for angling. Nearby at­tra­ctions include Mejlgård Castle, the Tustrup dolmens, and the Gl. Estrup Manor Museum. The house is only a 15-minute drive from Scan­di­navia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, and about 30 minutes from the cozy market town of Grenaa, where you can meet sharks and penguins at the Kattegat Centre.
