Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy double bedroom and a room with two single beds, which also offers access to a balcony where you can sip your morning coffee in peaceful sur­ro­un­dings. On the ground floor, there’s another bedroom with bunk beds that kids will adore, as well as the house’s main bathroom.As an added touch of luxury, the annex provides extra space and comfort for your holiday. It includes a double bedroom, an ad­di­tio­nal bathroom, and a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day at the beach. The annex also features a washing machine and dryer, making it easy to manage laundry during your stay. The activity room in the annex is equipped with a pool table, table tennis, and table football, offering fun indoor en­tertain­ment if the weather turns un­fa­vorab­le.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The beach at St. Sjørup is one of the most unique bathing spots on Djursland. Near the coast, the seabed has a fjord-like character, but if you venture out across the shallow waters, you’ll reach sandy banks where the open sea stretches as far as the eye can see. Families often use prams, wagons, or other sturdy transport to navigate the shallow paths to the sandbanks. The beach feels re­mi­ni­s­cent of the Wadden Sea, with its distinct tidal patterns, channels, and small saltwater pools. Just 10 km from the house, you’ll find the small ferry port at Udbyhøj, which features a marina and excellent fishing op­portu­ni­ties. From here, a cable-drawn ferry connects you to the Randers side, where a beautiful white sandy beach with a Blue Flag and some of Denmark’s cleanest bathing waters await.For nature lovers, the Fjord Center, located nearby, is highly recom­men­ded. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, the area offers plenty of sights to explore, including Gl. Estrup Manor, the stone dolmens at Tustrup, and the region’s crown jewel – Djurs Som­mer­land, Northern Europe’s largest amusement park, just a 30-minute drive away.
