Just 100 meters from the sparkling waters of the beach, you’ll find this charming holiday home, thought­ful­ly crafted with many fine details. The house is split-level, and the high ceilings give a sense of spa­cious­ness and openness. From the kitchen, you can enjoy the peaceful sea view as you prepare delicious meals. The well-equipped kitchen opens up to a cozy dining area, complete with a wood-burning stove and heat pump, creating a warm and inviting at­mosp­he­re. The bright living room opens out onto the terrace, where you can sip your coffee, take in the fresh sea air, and enjoy the sight of the waves. The ocean brings such tranqui­li­ty, making it the perfect in­gre­di­ent for a relaxing holiday. A lovely bathroom with a sauna adds a luxurious touch and offers a chance to unwind. The house has two bedrooms with double beds, as well as mattres­ses in the loft space.

Several de­light­ful terraces invite you to enjoy the outdoors—whether you want to relax with a good book, savor a delicious meal, or simply take a break and let nature soothe you. The large grounds offer space for play and outdoor acti­vi­ties, and as the day draws to a close, you can gather around the fire pit to bake twist bread and watch the ships sail by. The view is bre­ath­taking, and every moment spent outdoors becomes an un­for­get­tab­le ex­pe­ri­en­ce.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Gjerrild Nord­s­trand is a popular, family-friendly area, ideal for a relaxing holiday. The beach, with its fine sand and shallow waters, is perfect for both sun­bat­hing and wading along the shore, with the Blue Flag de­sig­na­tion ensuring clean and safe waters for swimming. The nearby dunes are perfect for exploring, and the area is famous for its excellent amber-hunting op­portu­ni­ties along the beach. If you enjoy fishing, Gjerrild Klint is one of Djursland’s top spots for sea trout fishing. Birdwat­chers will love the cliff area, one of Denmark's most popular locations for observing both local and migratory birds.

The region is filled with lovely hiking and biking trails, and from the holiday home, you can cycle to Bønnerup, a quiet and charming desti­na­tion. The historic town of Grenaa is only a 20-minute drive away, where you can stroll through cozy pe­de­stri­an streets, enjoy a nice meal at one of the many sidewalk cafés, or visit the Museum Østjylland. The Kattegat Center, where you can get up close to sharks and other marine life, is also a must-see. From Grenaa Harbor, you can take a ferry to the Swedish town of Varberg or the small island of Anholt—both offering unique ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

For families, a visit to Djurs Som­mer­land is a must. Located about 30 minutes away, it’s the largest amusement park in Scan­di­navia and known for its thrilling, state-of-the-art rides. The area also boasts several castles, including Meilgaard and the agri­cul­tu­ral museum Gl. Estrup, which offers insight into the region’s history.
