The kitchen island serves as both a work surface and a “talking bar,” where you can enjoy a drink and chat with the others while making those tasty holiday dishes. The open kitchen naturally flows into the dining area and the cozy living room, where com­fortab­le furniture and a TV invite re­laxa­tion after a day full of ad­ven­tu­res. When it's time to sleep, the house offers 3 bedrooms: one with a lovely double bed and two with bunk beds, where the bottom bunks have doubles and the top bunks have singles – perfect for the kids. In the corner of the entrance, you’ll find a double sofa bed and another TV – a cozy spot for watching movies or playing games on quiet evenings. Last but not least, there’s a lovely new bathroom with a large shower, a washing machine, and a dryer – all the practical details that make the holiday extra con­ve­ni­ent.

Enjoy Life Outdoors

Just 350 meters from the house’s door, you’ll find the lovely, child-friendly beach. The flat, spacious ground around the house is perfect for acti­vi­ties, ball games, and outdoor play. There are two sunny terraces – one to the east by the entrance and one to the west with an exit from the living room. On the east-facing terrace, you can enjoy the morning sun with a cup of coffee, while on the west-facing terrace, you can relax on the lounge furniture and enjoy the long summer evening with a grill and some cozy chats.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Bønnerup is a charming, old-fashioned fishing village on northern Djursland, where tranqui­li­ty and nature meet. Sur­ro­un­ded by forests, beautiful landsca­pes, and the child-friendly beach, this place is ideal for re­laxa­tion and play. The harbor is a lively hub with both a marina and a fishing harbor, where you can buy freshly caught fish year-round. During the summer months, there’s an extra buzz with small shops and cozy eateries. The beach is perfect for children with shallow waters and sandy bottoms, where little ones can build sandcast­les or take a dip in the calm waters. If you’re looking for a bit more adventure, Djurs Som­mer­land is just a half-hour drive away – Northern Europe’s largest amusement park, offering fun ex­pe­ri­en­ces for the whole family. There’s also only a 30-minute drive to the historic town of Grenaa, where you can visit the Kattegat Center and take the ferry to Anholt or Sweden. If you have some time to spare, you can enjoy a picnic at Sangstrup Cliffs, where you can find fossils and sea urchins, or explore Meilgaard or Sostrup Castle – all just a short drive away from the house.
