The house offers a wonderful base where you and your family can enjoy a relaxing holiday. The practical and fun­ctio­nal white kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals while you enjoy the company in the open living room, which is filled with com­fortab­le furniture. Here, you can relax and enjoy the warmth of the wood stove while spending time with the dogs and children. Adjacent to the living room is the con­ser­va­tory, providing extra space for both play and re­laxa­tion. It's a perfect spot for dining "out" on a sunny day with a slight chill in the air. The house has two cozy bedrooms, a bathroom, and an entryway. In the annex, you'll find an extra room equipped with a TV and Play­sta­tion, as well as 3 sleeping spots – ideal for older children or grand­pa­rents who might ap­pre­ci­a­te a bit of peace and quiet.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, wonderful ex­pe­ri­en­ces await. The grounds are perfect for outdoor play, acti­vi­ties, and re­laxa­tion. The sunny terrace with a grill gives you the op­portu­ni­ty to enjoy dinner under the open sky. The fish cleaning station makes it easy to prepare your catch of the day, and the swing set and sandbox will bring joy to the little ones. The wild bath, located right next to the annex, offers the perfect op­portu­ni­ty to warm up under the stars while enjoying the peace and fresh air. There's also an ad­di­tio­nal terrace by the annex, where you can find your own corner of tranqui­li­ty.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The house is located in a scenic area in northern Djursland. The beach at Store Sjørup is one of Djursland's most di­stin­cti­ve bathing areas. Close to the shore, the bottom is mostly fjord-like, but if you venture out beyond the shallow waters, you will find sandbanks, and then the sea stretches out as far as the eye can see. The beach is almost com­pa­rab­le to a tidal flat, with a clear dif­fe­ren­ce between high and low tide, tidal creeks, and small saltwater ponds. About 10 km from the house, you’ll find the small ferry pier at Udbyhøj, with a small marina and great fishing op­portu­ni­ties. From here, there’s a cable-ferry to the Randers side, and if you cross, you'll find a beautiful white sandy beach with a blue flag, offering some of Denmark's cleanest bathing waters. If you're not into ferry rides, we recommend a visit to Fjellerup, located 20 minutes from the house. Here you can enjoy a lovely bathing beach and dine at one of Denmark's best waffle shops.

If you're in the mood for other nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, the Coastal and Fjord Center comes highly recom­men­ded. A visit to Gl. Estrup Castle, the dolmens near Tustrup, and the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, Djurs Som­mer­land, are also worth con­si­de­ring. There are plenty of ex­pe­ri­en­ces to be had throug­hout Djursland!
