The bathroom is simple and practical, and there’s a washing machine in the hallway, ensuring that even the practical aspects of the holiday can be taken care of easily and quickly.

The property is well-vegetated along the borders, providing a sense of privacy, and the covered terrace offers space for long, relaxing days—re­gard­less of the weather. From here, you can easily keep an eye on both children, dogs, and the hot tub while you unwind. For the little ad­ven­tu­rers, there’s a swing set ready for play and laughter, while the adults can sink into the hot tub and enjoy a break from everyday life under the open sky. And as the icing on the cake, the beach is only 800 meters away. In no time, you can be standing with sand between your toes, breathing in the fresh air and feeling the waves of the sea. Get Close to Local Ex­pe­ri­en­ces

The beach at St. Sjørup is one of Djursland’s most unique bathing areas. The seabed near the shore is primarily fjord-like, but as you walk past the shallow waters, you’ll reach sandbanks, and the open sea stretches as far as the eye can see. The trip to the sandbanks can be made with strollers, wagons, and other transport methods that can handle a journey through shallow water. The beach resembles a wadden sea, with clear dif­fe­ren­ces between high and low tide, tidal channels, and small saltwater pools. Ap­proxi­ma­te­ly 10 km from the house is the small ferry port of Udbyhøj, which features a marina and great fishing op­portu­ni­ties. From here, a cable-operated ferry takes you to the Randers side, where you’ll find a lovely white sandy beach with a blue flag and some of Denmark’s cleanest bathing waters. For nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, the Fjord Centre, located close to the house, comes highly recom­men­ded. In the area, it’s also worth visiting Gl. Estrup Castle, the burial mounds at Tustrup, and Northern Europe’s largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, which is less than a half-hour’s drive from the house, along with many at­tra­ctions throug­hout Djursland.
