The shady trees and varied ve­ge­ta­tion create an idyllic setting around the house, and there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to find a cozy spot to relax with a good book or a cup of coffee. Here is the loveliest sun terrace with a hammock, grill, and other garden furniture. With only 450 meters to the beach, you can easily take a re­fres­hing dip or enjoy long walks along the water and feel the wind in your hair.

Get close to local ex­pe­ri­en­ces: Fjellerup Strand is an old fishing village located in an at­tra­cti­ve holiday area on the coast of Nord­djursland. The beach is very child-friendly and has a blue flag. Here are dunes and pools as well as shallow water and sandy bottom. The nature in and around Fjellerup is fantastic and varied with many hiking trails and smaller roads, ideal for cycling. Fjellerup town offers a bakery, grocery store, re­stau­rant, and you can buy fresh fish and ice cream in several places. Along the coast, there are good op­portu­ni­ties for recre­a­tio­nal fishing. Nearby at­tra­ctions include Mejlgård Castle, the dolmens at Tustrup, and Gl. Estrup Agri­cul­tu­ral Museum. From the house, it's about a fifteen-minute drive to Northern Europe's largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, and about a half-hour drive to the cozy market town of Grenaa, where you can find, among other things, the Kattegat Center and say hello to sharks and penguins. You can also drive a bit further south on Djursland. Here you will find the old market town of Ebeltoft, Mols Bjerge National Park, Ree Park Safari, Scan­di­navi­an Wildlife Park, and much, much more.
