Amazing newly built cottage for 12 people with luxurious hot tub + wil­der­ness spa close to Saksild sandy beach

It is with great pleasure to welcome you to this newly built cottage from 2022 near Saksild Strand. The house is well furnished and ideal for a cosy and relaxing holiday in a modern setting, where nothing is missing.

The house has four bedrooms, two nice loft spaces with four single beds, open kitchen/living room, large living room, two great bathrooms, utility room and activity room.The bedrooms and lofts are all with quality double beds and wardrobes for storage.

Centrally located in the house is the large kitchen/living room, where the kitchen contains eve­ryt­hing you need during your stay of modern fa­ci­li­ties for delicious cooking. You can here enjoy the light and the beautiful view. There are two large fridges and also a freezer in the shed. Directly connected to the kitchen is a large dining area and com­fortab­le lounge area, where you can all gather after a good day at the beach, and enjoy board games, puzzles, chat and maybe watch a movie on the large TV, which has Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels + Chro­mecast. There is free 500/500 MB internet.

Many hours will surely be spent playing games and having fun in the activity room, where you can compete with the family in darts, ping pong or pool. There is also a TV with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels, Play­sta­tion4 and Chro­mecast for streaming your own subscrip­tion.

There are two super nice bathrooms in the house, both with toilet and shower. One also has a large indoor hot tub for 6 people and the most amazing view of the fields, which can be enjoyed all year round. At the entrance there is a utility room with plenty of wardrobe space and both a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can get your bath towels washed after a long day at the beach. There is a re­circu­la­tion system in the house which helps to maintain a good indoor climate. There is floor heating (air to water system) throug­hout the house. Outdoor
Around the house there is a large wooden terrace with nice garden furniture and sun loungers. Your meals of the day can be prepared at the outdoor kitchen and on the gas or charcoal grill and enjoyed on the partially covered terrace. There are plenty of spots to relax, read a good book, or maybe just take a holiday nap. In addition to the house you will find a wonderful wil­der­ness bath and an outdoor shower. It's great to take a dip outside after a lovely day of ocean swimming - re­gard­less of the season. The garden has a large lawn with plenty of space for playing and a large in-ground tram­po­li­ne. The lawn is always well mowed, as there is a robotic lawnmower installed at the house.

There is parking for up to 5-6 cars in the driveway and an electric car can be charged.

Location
The summer house is only 400 m. from East Jutland's very best beach. The shallow waters makes it very child-friendly.

Within walking distance is Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various com­mo­di­ties and new mini golf course build in the summer of 2021. In Saksild you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat some delicious ice cream af­terwards. If you are into active holidays, you can, for example, enjoy the water, cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area. Tip: Bike and pad­dle­bo­ard rental at Saksild Strand Camping.

The small, cosy harbour town of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the popular Norsminde Kro. From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Samsø and Tunø. So a one-day trip to one of these cosy islands is a must. Only 8 km. from the house is Odder, which offers fine shopping op­portu­ni­ties, large selection of shops for groceries and fine sights. You can visit "Denmark's largest Kvickly" which is a su­per­mar­ket with many good offers and fine ex­pe­ri­en­ces. The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family, both young and old.

Only 30 minutes away, Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, can be enjoyed and ex­pe­ri­en­ced. Here you will find Den gamle by (the Old Town), the art museum AROS, the history Moesgaard Museum, the shopping centre Bruuns Galleri and the amusement park Tivoli Friheden. The city offers a wide range of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, shopping and many delicious places to eat.
