Older holiday home in village on southern Samsø with views of fields and the coast

Here on the edge of the village, Ørby, lies this cosy but older holiday home. The garden is peaceful and open to the sun from early in the day to the last rays in the evening. The house shares its plot with another holiday home, but you can stay here com­ple­te­ly un­dis­tur­bed.

Welcome inside
The old village house has an at­mosp­he­re all of its own with mullioned windows, old doors, rustic walls and a dif­fe­ren­ce in level from room to room. The house has been partially renovated and there are beautiful wooden floors in the living rooms and bedrooms. The west-facing living room has space for you to settle down on the sofa and switch on the TV or relax with a good book. There's also an extra bed here.

The dining room is right next to the kitchen, which has been renovated in country style and is well-equipped with a dis­hwas­her, among other things. So the kitchen is perfect for preparing your holiday meals before heading out to explore Samsø.
In addition to a bed in the living room, there are three ad­di­tio­nal bedrooms, so there's plenty of space for up to 4 guests. One bedroom has two single beds, while the other bedrooms are smaller and therefore furnished with a single bed.
In the house you'll find space for con­tem­p­la­tion, so it's also perfect if you're tra­vel­ling to Samsø to write or study. Here you can count on un­dis­tur­bed peace and tranquil­li­ty while being close to the village and several of Samsø's at­tra­ctions. This house is ideal for those who want to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the village lifestyle and the peace and quiet of a cosy, older house.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is built together with the owner's own holiday home, so the plot is shared with another property. The outdoor areas are naturally divided so you can enjoy privacy in the garden to the west, sur­ro­un­ded by a hedge and a small terrace where you can enjoy a barbecue and good garden furniture. Here you can enjoy the peaceful sur­ro­un­dings un­dis­tur­bed, and you can also follow the seasons in the fields that surround the house to the east. There is parking space to the north of the house and you'll find the holiday home on the outskirts of Ørby on a small gravel road. The house is quietly located in the cosy village and scenic sur­ro­un­dings.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Ørby is located on the southern part of Samsø, and from here you can take a walk in Brat­tings­borg Forest between the im­pres­si­ve tall trees and out to the sea. The forest is beautiful to walk in all year round. Another great place to visit is Vesborg Ligh­t­hou­se, located on the very sout­her­n­most part of Samsø. If you climb to the top of the ligh­t­hou­se, you can enjoy the unique view of Jutland, Zealand and Funen.

The small, hilly roads can also lead you to Brundby, where Brundby Hotel offers good food and music. Further north you'll find the beau­ti­ful­ly situated 18-hole golf course right by the water. All year round and espe­ci­al­ly during the summer months, there are regular cultural events just around the corner, such as art exhi­bi­tions and various festivals with opera, jazz and rock/pop. Ballen marina is just 4.5 ki­lo­metres from the house and here you'll also find a wide selection of re­stau­rants, shops and a lovely beach.

In the north of Samsø, don't miss out on a walk in Nordby Hills, which always offers beautiful nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces. In Nordby, you can also enjoy lunch or ice cream by the cosy street pond.
