This sum­mer­hou­se is won­der­ful­ly bright and inviting in two floors, with two bathrooms and room for the whole family or all the friends. However, the beautiful view of the west coast of Samsø makes this house and location in unique.

Interior
The lovely open and yet shared kitchen / living room is the first room you enter. This doubles as a small hallway with space for coats and shoes. A partition between the kitchen and the dining room makes it possible to cook and keep the smoke in the kitchen but still, there is a direct access to the dining table and the living room.

The kitchen is won­der­ful­ly bright and well main­tai­ned. Here is eve­ryt­hing you need for your vacation, including a dis­hwas­her, re­fri­ge­ra­tor with freezer, oven and hob. There is plenty of table space and light coming in from the east-facing window.

At the dining table there are also large windows over­look­ing the water. In this bright and inviting dining room, everyone can gather and enjoy the meals of the day. There is also a 3-seater sofa and armchair, so you can spend time together here, whether playing a game at the table or resting on the sofa. From a glass garden door, there is access to a lovely south-facing terrace, perfect for taking meals or the morning coffee outside. In extension of this terrace is also a covered terrace facing west and the water.

From the kitchen-dining room is a small hallway with access to two bedrooms and the bathroom. One bedroom has a com­fortab­le double bed, closet space and bedside lamps, while the other bedroom has a single bed and a desk. The bathroom on the ground floor is bright with white tiles and, in addition to a walk-in shower, there is also a washing machine.

On the first floor, you find another lovely living room with a com­fortab­le sofa which invites you to cozy up and relax. It is perfect to sit here and enjoy the view from the large windows facing the sea. If you want a change from the beautiful view, you can turn on the TV, which has a satellite dish with Danish, German and Swedish TV channels. In addition, there is WiFi free to use. From the living room there is access to a balcony that offers the best view of the open grounds and the west coast of Samsø, which is only 150 meters from the house. Beautiful sunsets and memorable moments are gu­a­ran­te­ed here.

Next to the living room is another bedroom with a double bed, large windows and access to the balcony. The bedroom is right next to the second toilet with a shower cabin and light-colored tiles.

In front of the sum­mer­hou­se is an annex with sleeping ac­com­moda­tion for 3 people. The annex is connected to the main house by a tiled path and is in 1st row to the sea. It has a good double bed, a single bed and storage space. The annex has large windows where you can enjoy the view in peace - however, you can also turn on the wall-mounted TV.

Outdoors
The sum­mer­hou­se is situated on a large, open plot with lawn, which makes it possible to enjoy the view to the fullest. There is plenty of parking space and around the house there are fences and shrubs. The large terraces are perfect for enjoying your meals or a glass of wine. However, you can also make yourself com­fortab­le in the sun loungers when the weather permits. The south-facing terrace is sheltered by a half-wall, which provides both shelter and privacy. Towards the water there is another large, covered terrace where many evenings can be spent enjoying the view and the beautiful sunset.

In front of the annex is a large terrace, which is nicely enclosed by a fence that provides some shelter and creates a cozy en­viron­ment on the open plot. Between the plot and the sea is a small gravel road and a common area where it is possible to play football.

Location
The holiday home is located in a quiet sum­mer­hou­se area at Sælvig. Sælvig harbor is a lifeline for Samsø, as there is ferry service to Jutland both Hou and Aarhus. The house is located on a quiet road, and apart from the ferries on the horizon, you are not disturbed by traffic. In Sælvig is the re­stau­rant Perlen, which is open most of the year. On the sand beach just 100 meters from the house it is possible to swim and go for some nice walks.

5 ki­lo­me­ters from the sum­mer­hou­se is Tra­neb­jerg, which is Samsø's largest town, and here you will find a wide selection of specialty and grocery stores. Around the entire southern part of Samsø there are many cozy villages, all worth a visit. They are located a few ki­lo­me­ters from each other, so it is easy to cycle around and visit the small cafes, shops and galleries.

On the south coast of Samsø is Brat­tings­borg Manor and its beautiful forest. Here is also Vesborg Ligh­t­hou­se, which can be visited in the summer months, and from the top of the ligh­t­hou­se is an amazing view of Funen, Jutland and Zealand. On North Samsø is the cozy town of Nordby, with its iconic clock tower and good op­portu­ni­ties for an ice cream or a good lunch. You should also take the time to visit Nordby Bakker and Issehoved, where it is always a great ex­pe­ri­en­ce to go for a walk.
