Welcome inside
Welcome to this beautifully situated summer house overlooking the sea and west coast of Samsø.

This classic and cozy house in Vesterløkken is located in a popular cottage area, where both nature, the south island's experiences and the sea a with good bathing jetty are close.

The house has a lovely living room, which is the house's gathering room with dining area, sofa, and a great view. In the living room is also a wood pellet stove that spreads the same cosiness and warmth as a classic wood stove, but without the hassle. If you wish to light up the wood pellet stove, the wood briquettes must be purchased. There are wooden walls and ceilings, which help to create a real cottage atmosphere. From the living room there is a direct connection to the kitchen, which is of older date, but the yellow cabinets and brown tiles are in a retro style that helps to create atmosphere in the room.

The house TV does not have TV channels but a Chromecast. You must therefore use your own streaming services to watch TV.

The kitchen has all the necessary facilities, including a dishwasher, oven, coffee machine and combined fridge freezer. There's always plenty of opportunity to join in the fun, whether you want to play games in the living room or cook.

From the living room and kitchen there is direct access to a wooden terrace, which is partially covered from the living room. You can go out and enjoy the beautiful view in a peaceful setting directly from the livingroom, and from the kitchen it is perfect to take your coffee out on the terrace with the morning sun.

From the living room you go to the hallway, where also the entrance of the house is. In the hallway you have access to the 3 bedrooms. 2 of them have double beds and 1 room has 2 single beds. The rooms have good beds and are furnished with wardrobe space and bedside lamps.

The bathroom is right next to the bedrooms of the house. It is not large, but is a typical summer house bathroom with wooden walls, shower, floor heating and a washing machine.

Enjoy life outside
Away from the quiet gravel road is a large partly open garden with both sun and shade. The garden's large lawn has space for ball games, and you must shoot over bushes and trees in case the ball ends up in the neighbour's garden. The wooden terrace surrounding the house also provides both sun and shade. In addition, a small viewing area is located to the west with a "sunset bench”, because the sunset in Vesterløkken is a beautiful sight.

On the terrace is a charcoal grill, so you can cook dinner outdoors, as well as good garden furniture to sit in.

In front of the house is good parking and a carport.

Get up close to the local attractions
The peaceful cottage area Vesterløkken is located on Samsø's west coast, where there is sandy bottom a few metres out from the pebble beach. A walk along the beach to the north leads to a very special place, Ilse Made natural water source. There are many legends associated with this place, which can be dated back several thousand years. Near the holy spring is Samsø Badehotel, which offers both good dinners or a cup of coffee with a view.

Samsø is a good place to recharge your batteries, whether you prefer a good book on the sofa or a walk along the water. On Samsø's south island, the small villages are close together, so it's easy to get around by bike and stop to browse in interesting shops, small workshops or cafés. Tranebjerg, the island's capital, is only 5 kilometres away and has several grocery and speciality shops. In the marine town of Ballen on the opposite coast, there is a wide choice of restaurants and a cosy atmosphere in summer. Visit the ceramics workshop Det Gode Skår or have a good dinner at Skipperly or Dokken close to the harbour. You can also buy good, fresh vegetables to take home to the summer house at the many roadside stalls.

A visit to Samsø naturally also includes a visit to the North Island, where you will find the beautiful Nordby Hills. It's a good idea to go for some good walks here and then visit the cosy town of Nordby.
