Welcome inside
The holiday home was built in 1988, and thanks to suc­ces­sful renova­tion projects and decora­ti­ve im­prove­ments, it has only gotten better with time. It includes amenities such as Wi-Fi and an energy-saving heat pump, with the latest mo­der­niza­tion occurring in 2016, when a beautiful new kitchen was installed. The layout is well thought out, allowing six people to easily and com­fortably settle into the three bedrooms. In warmer seasons, there is even space for eight people, as the sofa bed in the sunroom can ac­com­moda­te two extra guests. When you really need to relax, you can recline by the fireplace in the living room or enjoy the sunlight and green views in the sunroom – or you can prepare for a true wellness evening with a hot tub and a sauna session. The hot tub is located in the guest bathroom, while the sauna is adjacent to the bathroom, which is also equipped with a shower, so you can refresh yourself with a cold bath.

Enjoy life outside
When the sun beckons you outdoors, you can enjoy outdoor living on the large terrace that wraps around the sout­hwestern sides of the holiday home. Part of the terrace is covered, and it can be lovely to sit here with the sound of birds singing from the treetops, a laid dining table, and a cool drink while the grill heats up for dinner. A garage and a swing set are situated on the large natural plot, which is nicely secluded with beau­ti­ful­ly grown trees on several sides.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is beau­ti­ful­ly located in the scenic Sønder­strand area. As the area’s name suggests, you live close to the lovely beach Sønder­strand, where you can gaze out over the open expanses and swim in the North Sea when the weather permits it. Many engage in wind sports on the beach, and there are op­portu­ni­ties to rent equipment and receive lessons if you want to try kite buggying or blokart. Several riding centers on Rømø also arrange horseback rides on the beach and in the forest, and there are various guided tours available to get closer to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the village of Havneby, you'll find a well-stocked su­per­mar­ket, fish shops, bike rentals, and a golf course, and if you feel like an outing on the water, ferries regularly depart for the German neig­h­bor­ing island of Sylt.
