Welcome inside
The summer house was ori­gi­nal­ly built in 1964, but after a suc­ces­sful expansion project in 2010, you can now spread out over 105 m². The layout includes three good bedrooms with a total of six sleeping places, and at the same end of the house, you'll find the bathroom, which is beau­ti­ful­ly fitted with a hot tub by the bay window. When it’s time to gather, you can come together in the living area, which consists of the kitchen and living room in an open layout. Here, you have both a wood-burning stove and a heat pump for the chilly days – and if it’s sunny and warm outside, you might consider moving the good company out to the adjoining garden room, where you can truly enjoy the sunlight and the greenery of the garden.

Enjoy life outside
The sunshine hours can also be spent outdoors, where a lovely terrace area spreads out around several sides of the summer house. To make outdoor living complete, there are sun loungers, garden furniture, an umbrella, and a grill available, and there’s even a sandbox and climbing frame for the youngest holiday guests. Both young and old can enjoy the large lawn when the whole family competes in Viking games and other garden acti­vi­ties.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The sur­ro­un­dings are lovely and peaceful in Lakolk: To the east of the holiday house area lies a vast natural area, and to the west is Lakolk Beach, con­si­de­red one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches. Here, you can swim in the North Sea, windsurf, take long walks, fly a kite, and even go horseback riding with one of Rømø's riding centers. If you feel like browsing in shops or enjoying a good meal at a café, you can take a short walk to Lakolk Shopping Center, where you can also shop at the su­per­mar­ket. You will find various dining options and shopping op­portu­ni­ties around Rømø, including in Havneby, which also offers bike rentals and a beautiful golf course that stretches right to the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea is on UNESCO's World Heritage List, and it's recom­men­ded to join an oyster tour or other guided tours to learn more about this mag­ni­fi­cent tidal area.
