Well-furnished and newly renovated holiday home in Stillinge Strand on the Great Belt coast

Welcome inside: The holiday home, newly renovated in 2023, is well-main­tai­ned and thought­ful­ly designed. All rooms feature vaulted ceilings. The house has a combined kitchen and living room. The modern, fun­ctio­nal kitchen includes a stovetop, built-in oven, range hood, microwave, dis­hwas­her, re­fri­ge­ra­tor, and freezer. The living room boasts large windows that provide plenty of natural light. From the living room, there is access to a partially covered terrace. The living area includes ample dining space, a corner sofa, a wood-burning stove, a TV with Danish DR channels, a satellite dish with German channels, and a Chro­mecast for streaming (requires personal login).

There are two bathrooms with shower cubicles, tiled floors, and un­der­floor heating. One bathroom also features a spa bath and a washing machine. The house has four bedrooms, all equipped with double beds (two single beds pushed together). Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, there is an alcove in the living room with sleeping space for two. A baby cot and a high chair are also available. The house is heated via a heat pump, wood-burning stove, and electric heating.

Free wireless internet is provided (fiber optic). Final cleaning is mandatory.

No rentals to youth groups where all par­ti­ci­pants are aged 15-25.

Enjoy life outside: The house is situated on a beautiful, secluded 1,170 m² plot with a lovely garden offering ample space for play and re­laxa­tion. There is a large, partially covered wooden terrace where you can fully enjoy outdoor life. The property is equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, a parasol, and a grill.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions:
The summer house is located within walking distance of the water at Stillinge Strand, one of West Zealand’s best and most family-friendly sandy beaches. The house is also close to the beach center. Stillinge Strand is a large holiday home area on Zealand’s west coast and features several re­stau­rants, a café, a grocery store, a grill, and an ice cream shop. Nearby are the three market towns of Korsør, Slagelse, and Skælskør, all offering good shopping op­portu­ni­ties.

Slagelse, the largest com­merci­al town in West Zealand, has a wide selection of shops, re­stau­rants, and cafés. It is also home to one of Denmark’s largest barracks, where you can see the Royal Guard Hussars ride through the town every Wednesday.

The sur­ro­un­ding area offers numerous excursion op­portu­ni­ties, including the Viking fortress Trel­le­borg, Kragerup Manor with various acti­vi­ties such as treetop ad­ven­tu­res, football golf, mountain bike trails (bike rentals available), and canoeing on the moat. Other at­tra­ctions include Pan­zer­mu­se­um East near Slagelse, which has an im­pres­si­ve col­lection of military vehicles and equipment from the Cold War, Birkegården’s Gardens—a 10,000 m² ex­pe­ri­en­ce garden with animals and a play park—and Gerlev Play Park, offering 1,000 years of play culture for children and adults, including classic games from around the world, Viking games, combat games, and hide-and-seek.
