Here you can enjoy your summer holidays in a light and inviting holiday house. The house was com­ple­te­ly renovated inside in 2024, so it is totally ready to welcome you with open arms. The location is wonderful in quiet sur­ro­un­dings with animal life and close to the beach towards north as well as south.

Welcome inside

Inside you are met by a charming at­mosp­he­re. The house is light and inviting with nice cosy corners. When the dew is falling on the terrace in the evening, you may extend the summer evenings in the con­ser­va­tory of the house. Cooler evenings you may enjoy in the sofa in the living room with a good movie or a TV show, while the wood burner is crackling in the ba­ck­gro­und.

Enjoy life outside

On the spacious west-facing terrace you have plenty of room for re­laxa­tion, to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun and have a nice dinner, while you are planning the acti­vi­ties for the following day. Maybe you have the luck to see a roe deer, a hare or a squirrel, while you are having a cosy time around the table. We warmly recommend a short evening stroll to the beach by Kattegat, where you can watch the sunset over Gniben by Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

The holiday house is located within walking distance to the beach by Kattegat towards north and the Sejerø Bay towards south, so you have every po­s­si­bi­li­ty to find shelter and go to the beach. The coastline towards Kattegat is known for its good fishing po­s­si­bi­li­ties, so here you find anglers along the coast, hoping to catch sea trout, garfish or cod, and harpoon fishing is also popular along the coast. If you want an active day, we recommend a trip in the beautiful forest Sonnerup Skov, a big and im­pres­si­ve forest with many old beech trees bordering the sea by Kattegat. Another spot worth visiting is the cosy fishing village Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde, where you can enjoy a nice lunch and an ice cream. And you can buy fresh fish to bring home from the lavish fis­h­mon­ger, offering plenty of de­li­ca­cies. If you want a shopping day, Nykøbing Sjælland is the place to visit; here you find a cosy pe­de­stri­an street with cafés and shops, and here you can buy your daily amenities, if you are not doing so in the local su­per­mar­ket Rema 1000 in Lumsaas.
