Great holiday house very close to the sea at Sjællands Odde

This beautiful holiday house, facing Kattegat and close to Odden Havneby, invites to holiday at­mosp­he­re, also for the family with children, as the harbour offers all kinds of po­s­si­bi­li­ties for en­tertain­ment with a swing, a sandbox and a lovely playhouse.

Welcome inside

You have a panoramic front row view to Kattegat from the living room in the house as well as from the kitchen and one of the bedrooms, so actually you could just spend your time watching the changing sea and the fine sailing ships and boats that are passing by. But you could also settle down by the dining table to sketch or paint the view and let everybody in the family make their own in­ter­pre­ta­tion of the view from the house. The children could also present the view as a motif on a pearl plate. If somebody gets tired or wants a rest, you may lie down on the double bed in the bed recess in the living room and still follow the family life.

Enjoy life outside

The family-friendly garden offers a shelter and a play tower with a swing, a slide and a house for the youngest to play in. In the garden pavilion there is ample space to enjoy the daily meals or the afternoon coffee by the big table. Enjoy the white nights here and gaze at the stars through the glass roof in the pavilion, when darkness is falling. Remember a day on the lovely beach, from where you may also angle.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

Here you will be told the in­tri­gu­ing story about the ve­ge­tab­les, and during the summer months you may see a lot of ve­ge­tab­les on the Visitors’ Field that Odsherred is famous all over Denmark for growing. You can watch and also get samples of the ve­ge­tab­les on a guided tour of the field. You may also take the 10km long adventure route on the Lam­mefjord with five stops en route and ex­pe­ri­en­ce a mud hole and a roach bank in the inner part of the Lam­mefjord.
