About 4.5 ki­lo­me­ters north of the holiday home is the Samsø Golf Club, one of Denmark’s most beautiful golf courses – perfect for those who wish to combine golf with scenic sur­ro­un­dings.

In southern Samsø, you’ll find charming villages with local shops, cafés, and galleries. For instance, visit Besser north of Ballen or Brundby with its famous Rock Hotel, hosting concerts throug­hout the year. Only 3.5 ki­lo­me­ters from the holiday home is the island’s largest town, Tra­neb­jerg, with good shopping options, Samsø Museum, and tourist in­for­ma­tion.

Samsø is ideal for cycling trips, where you can explore the charming towns and ex­pe­ri­en­ce local life. In the northern part of the island, you will encounter stunning nature, and a hike in the Nordby Hills is a must. Here, you’ll find trails through the beautiful Ice Age landscape, where you can enjoy views of Issehoved, Samsø’s nort­her­n­most point. Nordby also has several good re­stau­rants and shops offering local spe­ci­al­ties to end the day in the best possible way.
