Welcome inside
When you enter the holiday home, you will im­me­di­a­te­ly notice a lovely relaxed at­mosp­he­re in the bright interior. The house has been renovated in a welcoming style with a sense of quality, and at the same time the cosy holiday home at­mosp­he­re is top notch for 4 adults and 2 children.

The center of the holiday home is the open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is very well connected to the dining table and sofa corner. This means that you can prepare your holiday meals in the kitchen and still have a good view of both the living room and the terrace. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the gable bring in plenty of daylight and you can enjoy the view of the large, green garden. From the patio doors you can walk directly out onto the covered terrace, so when the weather is nice, the terrace becomes an extension of the living room. Between the dining table and the sofa corner is a wood-burning stove, so you can easily turn up the cosiness and warmth when the weather gets colder.

Of course, you can also turn on the TV and relax with a good movie in the sofa corner. This light and cosy space is sure to be a great place for you all to spend time together.

The holiday home has 3 bedrooms, where you may want to divide your­sel­ves according to age. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom is slightly smaller but can also ac­com­moda­te 2 overnight guests. The third bedroom has a bunk bed, so it's ideal for younger guests. Either way, you're gu­a­ran­te­ed a good night's sleep here.

The bathroom is located in the center of the house, and it's also bright and renovated, so you'll find good bathing fa­ci­li­ties here and a washing machine aswell. The framework for a great holiday on the west coast of Samsø is gu­a­ran­te­ed in this lovely holiday home.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is located on a large and secluded plot, so you can fully enjoy nature and the quiet holiday home area. At the end of the holiday home plot is a set of tables and benches where you can sit and enjoy the sunset or have your afternoon coffee here.

Around the house there is plenty of space to play in the grass. There's also a swing set so the children can play and enjoy them­sel­ves for hours. If you prefer to relax and enjoy the sun, the holiday home has two terraces. One terrace is west-facing and covered. With access from the living room, so it's easy to bring your meals out here or relax in one of the sun loungers.

By the front door is another sheltered terrace, which is ideal for taking your morning meals outside. whatever the weather It is (almost) always possible to find a great place to enjoy yourself at your holiday home.

Discover the area
Vesterløkken is an at­tra­cti­ve holiday home area beau­ti­ful­ly situated on the west-facing coast of Samsø. Between the holiday homes there are trees, bushes and gravel roads, so it's quiet all year round. The coast is just 300 metres from the holiday home, so after a short walk you will reach the beach. The beach is a pebble beach, but in the summer there is a jetty from where you can go for a nice swim. Close to the holiday home you will also find Ilsemade Hel­lig­kil­de, a legendary spring that dates back over 2000 years.

From Vesterløkken, it's just 4 ki­lo­metres to Tra­neb­jerg, where there are several shopping op­portu­ni­ties as well as the island's tourist in­for­ma­tion centre, Samsø Museum and several cosy shops and cafés. Also visit Ballen on the opposite coast, which in summer is a lively harbour town with several re­stau­rants and shops.

Just north of Ballen is Samsø Golf Club, a beau­ti­ful­ly situated 18-hole golf course.

If you drive further north, don't miss Nordby, a cosy and very well-preserved village with a pond and bell tower. On the nort­her­n­most part of Samsø, Issehoved and Nordby Bakker are always worth a visit, with its beautiful hilly landscape and views of the Kattegat.
