First row holiday home on Samsø with 50 meters to the sea and a great view

We look forward to welcome you to this lovely holiday home on a large natural plot with a great location next to Sælvig Bay on the west coast of Samsø. The beach here is par­ti­cu­lar­ly popular among windsur­fers and families with children.

Welcome inside
The holiday home is a classic and bright cottage style where nature and light shine in through the windows. You can look forward to many enjoyable hours together in the living room, where the kitchen, dining area and living room are in open con­nection with each other. The kitchen is separated by a half-wall, where you can cook and still enjoy the view and chat with those already seated at the dining table. At the dining table is a large window in the gable that provides a beautiful view of the water and access to the covered terrace.

In the living room, there's a cosy sofa corner where you can lounge and relax after the day's ad­ven­tu­res, or you can turn on the TV. When it's chilly outside, you can also light a fire in the wood-burning stove to quickly create a warm and cosy holiday home at­mosp­he­re in the house.

The house sleeps six people in three bedrooms, all with com­fortab­le beds and closet space. One room is furnished with a double bed, the second room with a three-quarter bed, while the last room is furnished with two single beds. You can spread out as you please and get a good night's sleep for sure.

Of course, the house also has a good bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The holiday home has eve­ryt­hing you need to enjoy Samsø and the beautiful Sælvig Bay to the fullest on your holiday.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is located on a large plot that is open around the house and gradually turns into natural grounds with trees and shrubs. From the living room there is access to the covered wooden terrace with water views and a large stone terrace open to the south and west. It's the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the sunset, or take your morning coffee outside and enjoy the tranquil­li­ty. From the house there is also a path down to the beach, so it's easy to walk down and take a dip.

The house is located at the end of a dirt road and is placed in the middle of nature in peaceful sur­ro­un­dings, even though it is close to the road.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is located in one of Samsø's smaller holiday home areas, peaceful yet central with short distances to Sælvig ferry harbour, Tra­neb­jerg and the north island of Samsø. On the north island, you can enjoy im­pres­si­ve, hilly landsca­pes created during the Ice Age, with Issehoved as the northern tip. It's always beautiful to visit Samsø's nature and go for some great walks here.
Nordby is a charming and historic village with a lovely street pond. Here you can enjoy a good ice cream or lunch.

Scattered around the island there are many good re­stau­rants and local shops in Tra­neb­jerg and Ballen, among others.
If you're looking for an activity other than a hike, Samsø also offers a beau­ti­ful­ly situated golf course or Samsø Falconry Centre. Close to the house there is a cycle path that you can use to cycle all the way to the north or south of Samsø.

Sælvig Bay close to the holiday home is a popular beach for families with children as the water is shallow and there is a sandy beach. You can also often see windsur­fers trying out the waves and wind in the bay.
