The holiday house is a small gem located in Trolleskoven forest between Rørvig and Nykøbing, perfect for relaxation and cosy times. Here you can enjoy reading a good book, playing games or bake buns in the lovely kitchen. Alternatively you may just sit on the sofa in the living room and look out the window to spot a deer or a squirrel passing by.
Enjoy life outside
The big nature plot offers several spots, where you may enjoy outdoor life, and maybe play badminton or croquet. On the cosy terrace you may gather for an evening of telling cock-and-bull stories from the old days or to enjoy a nice glass of red wine after then children have gone to bed. The plot offers varied nature and the possibility to dwell on bio-diversity.
Get close to the local attractions
Go for a walk to the beach at Kattegat, only a few minutes’ walk from the holiday house, through the beautiful Rørvig Sandflugtsplantage forest, offering pine trees, dune heath and a wide sandy beach. Visit Rørvig village, where you can find good eating places and learn the local history on the churchyard by Rørvig Church. Here, amongst others, the Nobel-Prize winning author Henrik Pontoppidan is buried. From Rørvig harbour you may take the small ferry to Hundested, or you may cycle or walk along the Fjord Path, framing the Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord. The Fjord Path is 230km long and offers beautiful views and varied paths, well suited for cyclists as well as wanderers. A tour towards north-east brings you to Skansehage with lovely bathing waters and an open landscape, where you may enjoy the view of the fjord and Kattegat. If you continue along the Kattegat-coast you will reach Korshage, a protected nature area in the north-eastern part of Odsherred, from where you can continue the walk around Dybesø Lake and back along the forest or the impressive inland dune Højsandet.
