Welcome inside
The summer house has been here in Kongsmark since 1970, but a lot has happened in the meantime, as it was renovated and even expanded in 2016. Today, you can enjoy 90 well-furnished square meters, which include a large entrance hall with a washing machine, a bathroom with a shower niche, and three good bedrooms. In total, there is space for six holiday guests, as two of the bedrooms each offer two single beds, while the third and largest bedroom is equipped with a double bed. When you want to spend time together, the lovely living room is the perfect place to gather, where you can settle at the dining table or relax in the sofa area near the wood-burning stove. The summer house’s kitchen is integrated into the living room, allowing cooking to be part of the shared holiday activities.
Enjoy life outside
The plot is large and simply laid out with a lawn and a tiled terrace, providing ample space for both play and relaxation. The surrounding planting screens your private outdoor areas, allowing you to fully enjoy the peace and quiet while you lounge in the garden furniture. The local wildlife must also appreciate the idyllic surroundings, as deer often pay visits to the garden.
Get up close to the local attractions
The location is excellent if you dream of peace and tranquility during your holiday, as the summer house is at the end of a road in a closed holiday area. Additionally, Kongsmark is centrally located on Rømø, making it easy to get around the Wadden Sea island—for example, to the lovely bathing beaches and the North Sea on the west coast, to Kirkeby and Tvismark Plantation, Juvre Dike, and to Havneby all the way to the south. In Havneby, you can play golf, rent bicycles, and buy freshly made delicacies from local fishmongers, and from the harbor, you can take the ferry on an excursion to the neighboring island of Sylt. A boat trip is a lovely way to get a closer look at the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it’s also recommended to go on a guided oyster tour, where you’ll get up close and personal with this unique tidal area.
