Here in the beautiful natural sur­ro­un­dings, you can enjoy the view from the very start of the day as soon as you pull back the curtains from the bedroom window. You might even see deer and hares skipping by outside while you sit with your morning coffee in the living room, di­scus­sing your plans for the holiday day. If you prefer to stay indoors, you can settle down with a good book by the wood stove or get ready to play Monopoly or other board games at the dining table. You can prepare lunch in the adjacent kitchen – and if you get tired after the meal, you can reward yourself with an afternoon nap in one of the three bedrooms. The bathroom was newly renovated in 2020.

Enjoy life outside
When the sun is shining, it's perfect to spend a large part of your holiday outside, where you have several terraces to choose from. One of the terrace areas is covered, and there are garden furniture, sun loungers, a grill, and a parasol available to enhance outdoor living. Best of all, re­laxa­tion takes place in the most idyllic sur­ro­un­dings: A blanket of heather and other wild plants spreads across the flat landscape, and in the distance, you can see the pine trees of Tvismark Plan­ta­tion.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
If you don't choose to spend the entire holiday in your own private oasis, there are many excursion op­portu­ni­ties in the neig­h­bor­hood and around Rømø. From your peaceful address, you can follow small roads and paths into the greenery – for example, to the viewpoint Høstbjerg, to Tvismark Plan­ta­tion, or across the open plains to Lakolk Beach. The beautiful and child-friendly bathing beach is about three ki­lo­me­ters away, and if the weather isn't suitable for swimming, you are fortunate to have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret. The trip to Skærbæk on the mainland can be done quickly, as you are close to the Rømø dam – and the drive itself is quite an ex­pe­ri­en­ce, as you have a fantastic panoramic view over the Wadden Sea, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
