This thatched summer house is charmingly decorated and offers a sensible layout spread over two floors. Outside, you can relax on the balcony and the partially covered terrace – and whether you’re inside or outside, you can enjoy the view of the picturesque surroundings.

Welcome inside
The summer house is situated on a large natural plot in Vesterhede, and from both the ground floor and the first floor, you can gaze out at the heather-covered areas, conifer trees, and the blue sky. Such a view is perfect for relaxation – and if your holiday unwinding is to take place indoors, the living area of the house is perfect for that purpose. It is furnished with a dining table, flat-screen TV, a comfortable seating area, and an open kitchen where you can enjoy cooking together. Additionally, there is both a heat pump and a wood-burning stove, so you can stay warm even on a cold day. The ground floor also includes two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with a shower niche, while upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds. If you need to refresh your wardrobe during the holiday, there is a washing machine and a dryer in the associated utility room.

Enjoy life outside
From one of the upstairs bedrooms, you have access to a covered balcony, allowing you to step outside and breathe in the fresh air as soon as you wake up to see if it’s nice enough to serve breakfast outdoors. If so, you can set the table for breakfast on the house’s large, tiled terrace, which is a wonderful place to spend sunny hours. The terrace is partially covered, so a passing rain shower won’t stop you from staying outside. On the 2.500 m² natural plot, there is also a swing and sandpit for the youngest guests.

Get up close to the local attractions
The surroundings are peaceful and scenic in Vesterhede, located in the southern part of Rømø. The area has delightful natural beauty, offering tranquility where you can often see birds, hares and deer. It’s not far to Sønderstrand beach either, where you can swim in the North Sea and engage in various forms of wind sports on the kilometer-wide sandy beach. The house is just 2.5 kilometers from the village of Havneby, where you can shop at the supermarket, purchase fresh seafood from the fishmonger, and find a good meal at the town’s restaurants. From the harbor, you can take the ferry to List on Sylt, and if you prefer to stay on Rømø, you can rent bikes in Havneby, visit Rømø’s Play and Maze Park, or play golf at the beautiful links course of Rømø Golf Club, which runs right down to the Wadden Sea.

On the Wadden Sea island Rømø a unique landscape is waiting to be explored, especially the wide sandy beaches, that provide unforgettable memories. Rømø offers a variety of activities, including different forms of wind sports that only can be practiced in few places in Europe. There are two ways to reach Rømø - the causeway that connects Rømø to the mainland, and the ferry that shuttles between the popular German island Sylt and Rømø. This opens a variety of excursion options.
