This charming thatched cottage is won­der­ful­ly located on a small side road in the beautiful landscape of Kongsmark. Here you can enjoy a lovely view of the pine trees, heather, and the high sky, while the Wadden Sea and Rømø’s east coast are just a short walk away.

Welcome inside
With a holiday address here for a while, you and your loved ones have ample op­portu­ni­ty to enjoy the outdoors— but it is also nice to take a break now and then in the cozy setting of the cottage. In classic style, there are vaulted ceilings, wooden planks on the walls, and a wood stove in the living room, with the kitchen open to the living area, making it easy to pop back and forth to check on the lasagna in the oven while you and your loved ones play board games. The sofa area invites you to take an hour or two with an exciting book, or perhaps the alcove will be your favorite reading corner. When it’s time for bed, there are two good bedrooms to sleep in.

Enjoy life outside
Between the thatched cottage and the attached carport, there is a sheltered area where you can almost always find a shelter— and it is, by the way, a calm and safe setting if you have a dog with you on holiday. Adjacent to the living room is a partially covered terrace with beautiful views over the open landscape, and there is also an open terrace facing southeast, making it difficult to decide where the best spot to sit is. The natural plot is large, and if you have come to Rømø to relax in peaceful sur­ro­un­dings, it is perfect that it is located in the middle of a small, closed side road con­necting to the already tranquil Gl. Skinnevej.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
When you stay in Kongsmark, you have an excellent starting point for ex­pe­ri­en­cing all of Rømø— whether you want to play golf in Havneby, go kite buggying on Sønder­strand, or try your luck at Rømø Fiskesø all the way up north in Juvre. The lovely Lakolk Beach can be reached in less than ten minutes by car, and you have an even shorter distance to the Kirkeby Tree plan­ta­tion and to Bolilmark with its heather-covered landscape and the beautiful viewpoint Høstbjerg. And of course, you also have plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to explore the Wadden Sea, for example, on a guided oyster tour or a family-friendly expe­di­tion in the Wadden Sea.
