You will enjoy a holiday in particularly cozy surroundings in this charming summer house, located on a small road in scenic Kongsmark in the middle of Rømø.

Welcome inside
With its red wooden facade and white sash windows, this is a typical Danish summer house at this address. Inside, there is plenty of classic summer house charm, as the rooms have vaulted ceilings and rustic wooden trim on the walls, and a good Morsø wood stove is part of the cozy decor in the living room. At the same time, it is evident that significant effort has been made to update and maintain the house, so you have a lovely open kitchen for cooking as well as a beautiful bathroom for your morning wash. A heat pump has also been installed in the living room, providing both heating and cooling as needed. In addition to the bathroom and the living area, the house has two bedrooms. One is equipped with two single beds, and the other with a double bed – and there is also a niche with extra sleeping space in the living room, so a total of six holiday guests can stay in the summer house.

Enjoy life outside
From the kitchen, you have direct access to a lovely terrace area that is partially sheltered and includes a covered area. Through the French door in the living room, you can also step directly out onto the garden's lawn, which has plenty of space for play and relaxation. If you have small children with you on holiday, the swing set and sandbox in the garden will surely be a hit, while the scenic and peaceful surroundings can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age.

Get up close to the local attractions
From Gertrud Rasksvej, it’s easy to get out into Rømø’s beautiful nature, which offers heather-covered moors, white sandy beaches, and green plantations. The Wadden Sea is also nearby, making the surroundings truly world-class, as this unique tidal area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, being one of only seven attractions in Denmark. On Rømø, you will find a good selection of shopping opportunities and dining options, and especially in the summer months, you can find roadside stalls where you can buy local honey and vegetables. If you feel like taking a trip to the mainland, you can conveniently drive to Skærbæk, where as guests of the summer house, you have free access to the water park in Skærbækcentret.

Rømø offers a variety of activities, including different forms of wind sports that only can be practiced in few places in Europe. There are two ways to reach Rømø - the causeway that connects Rømø to the mainland, and the ferry that shuttles between the popular German island Sylt and Rømø. This opens a variety of excursion options.
