Cozy summer house with annex in Kongsmark
House-ID: 0146What will your next vacation be spent on? If you dream of slowing down and enjoying the beautiful nature, this cozy wooden summer house in Kongsmark is the perfect base.
Welcome inside
The summer house, built in 1976 and successfully renovated since then, is more or less the archetype of a classic Danish summer house: Inside, there are rustic wooden paneling on the walls and a vaulted ceiling, with views of the green natural plot through the windows. A wood-burning stove enhances the charm and warmth, and the comfortable furniture invites you to relax. There is plenty of space to spend time together in the living area, which consists of a combined living room and kitchen. The layout also includes a nice bathroom and two bedrooms with a total of three sleeping spaces. If you have more guests, there is room for two extra holiday guests in the small annex located close to the summer house.
Enjoy life outside
In addition to the house and annex, there is a swing set and a sandbox on the 2,750 m2 large plot. The surroundings are green and lush, with the lawn bordered by trees and bushes providing shelter and privacy. The terraces next to the summer house allow you to choose freely between sun and shade, as there are both open and covered sitting areas.
Get up close to the local attractions
The location is peaceful here in Kongsmark, as the summer house is situated almost at the end of a small, closed side road. Beautiful nature awaits nearby: For example, it’s not far to the lovely Kirkeby Plantation, where you'll find a large natural playground and a dog park. By following the paths through the plantation, you’ll reach Spidsbjerg, which at 19 meters is one of Rømø’s highest hills and a delightful viewpoint. Perhaps a swimming trip beckons, and if so, you are only a few kilometers from Lakolk Beach, which is a wonderful place to swim for both children and adults. It’s also worth taking a closer look at the fascinating Wadden Sea that surrounds Rømø. This unique tidal area is Denmark's largest national park and is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, so you can confidently say that you are enjoying world-class Danish nature during your holiday.
