Newly renovated cottage on a closed road in Bolilmark

The holiday at­mosp­he­re is at its best at Blåbærvej 13 in Bolilmark. This is not only due to the beautiful nature and peaceful ambiance that reign here on the closed road—but also the cottage itself, which has an in­cre­di­bly lovely decor for six people after a thorough mo­der­niza­tion.

Welcome inside
When the cottage was renovated in 2024, the process was me­ti­culous, making both the exterior and interior in­cre­di­bly charming. The stylishly furnished rooms exude coziness and harmony, and you can im­me­di­a­te­ly start looking forward to feeling at home here for a few days. The kitchen-dining area is a lovely place to gather for cooking together and having good con­ver­sa­tions around the dining table while enjoying the meal af­terwards. Next to the kitchen-dining area is the living room, and if the weather is cold, you can light up the wood stove before settling down on the sofas to play cards or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. Even the nighttime sleep and morning showers can take place in pleasant sur­ro­un­dings, as not only the three bedrooms but also the bathroom appear neat and bright.

Enjoy life outside
On the 2506 m² large plot, outdoor living is beau­ti­ful­ly staged. Heather, pine trees, and other ve­ge­ta­tion create a lovely play of colors, and it’s quite possible that you will see a deer or a pheasant strolling by, as wildlife thrives in this peaceful landscape. There are several terraces around the house, so you can find a good sunbeam to sit in for most of the day—or choose a shady spot on the covered terrace if you prefer. The hammock can provide a little rest when you return from your day’s excur­sions, and when you’re ready to cook again, it’s easy to prepare dinner outdoors on the gas grill.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The cottage is quietly located at the end of a small side road leading to the closed Blåbærvej. An easy-to-navigate path takes you into Tvismark Tree plan­ta­tion or out into the open, heather-covered landscape for which Bolilmark is so well-known. 19 meters may not sound like much, but it’s enough to make the nearby Høstbjerg Rømø's highest point, and on a clear day, you can see far across the Wadden Sea towards Esbjerg and Mandø. From Bolilmark, you have easy access to Lakolk Beach and the North Sea if you feel like a dip, and if you want to play golf, shop at the fis­h­mon­ger, or perhaps visit a café, you can drive all the way south to cozy Havneby.
