It is a pleasure to welcome you to this newly renovated holiday home at beautiful Saksild Strand with a lovely view of the sea.

The house has a very nice at­mosp­he­re, lovely decor and good style. The house has four bedrooms, a living room, kitchen/dining room and 2 beautiful bathrooms on 2 levels.

There is one bedroom on the ground floor with two single beds and three bedrooms on the first floor, all with nice double beds.

On the first floor you will find a cosy corner with TV and the option of streaming your own services via the Chro­mecast.

The kitchen contains all the modern fa­ci­li­ties you need during your stay and is directly connected to the dining area and spacious living room. Here you will find nice couches with TV and the option of streaming your own subscrip­tion via the house Chro­mecast.

There is free internet in the house.

On cool days, the family can gather in front of the wood-burning stove playing board games or reading a good book.

The house has a washing machine, so you can wash your beach towels after a long day at the beach.

There is also a high chair, cot, baby changing fa­ci­li­ties and a folding bathtub for the little one

Outdoor
The holiday home is located on a large block in Saksild Strand. Close to most things!

There are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to spend time outdoors during your stay. In the garden there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to play on the lawn, and the kids can enjoy the swings and sandpit.

The house has several lovely terraces - both open and covered - with lots of lovely garden furniture, sun loungers and a charcoal barbecue.

East Jutland's best beach is only 320 metres from the house. So you are sure to enjoy the outdoor shower by the house – it is great to take a shower outside after a lovely day of swimming in the sea.

There is plenty of space for 4 cars in the driveway and you can charge your electric car with a CEE plug.

Location
Within walking distance are Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries.

In Saksild Strand you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty large ice creams.

In 2022, a new mini golf course was added at Strands­hop­pen, which is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit.

The small, cosy harbour of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the renowned Norsminde Kro.

If you prefer an active holiday, you can spend it by the water, cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area.

From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Tunø and Samsø.

Only 8 km away is Odder, which offers a very lovely pe­de­stri­an street with great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and fine sights.

The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family.

Half an hour's drive away, you can enjoy and ex­pe­ri­en­ce Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city. Here you will find Den Gamle By, Aros Art Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden.
