Welcome to this newly renovated summer house, com­ple­te­ly mo­der­nized in spring 2022 and ready for guests to enjoy.

The house is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday in a modern setting with family and friends. The house has 3 great bedrooms, large modern kitchen and two bathrooms with both a toilet and shower. The sleeping ac­com­moda­tion is divided between two bedrooms with com­fortab­le double beds and one bedroom with a double bed + a really nice bunk bed, which can be folded up against the wall if you don't need it. One of the bathrooms has a washing machine and dryer, so you can wash your towels after a long day at the beach. There are two steps down to one of the bathrooms.

The heart and the social center of the house is de­fi­ni­te­ly the bright kitchen which is centrally located in the house with plenty of natural light from the windows. The kitchen has eve­ryt­hing you may need in terms of modern fa­ci­li­ties. There are induction hobs, oven, microwave, coffee maker, dis­hwas­her, fridge, freezer and wine fridge. Directly connected to the kitchen, you will find a dining area with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy meals of the day together or to enjoy board games and so­ci­a­lizing. The living room has com­fortab­le sofas with a great view to the garden and the terrace. There are TV channels in the house with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels. It is also an option to watch your own TV and streaming services via the house's Chro­mecast and your own mobile/tablet.

There is free internet with a speed of 100/100.

The house has floor heating in all rooms - heated by air to water system - which is cheaper heating than electri­ci­ty.

Outdoor
There is a large wooden terrace with com­fortab­le furniture and sun loungers. The covered part of the terrace is most likely where you will spend most of your stay. There is a large dining area, outdoor kitchen with running water and a large gas barbecue. At the back of the house there is an outdoor shower, so after a long day at the beach, an outdoor bath is both re­fres­hing and con­ve­ni­ent. There is an extra freezer in the shed in the garden.

The beach is only 160 metres from the house. We are sure you will enjoy this beach all year round with long walks, building sandcast­les and swimming.

Location
The area Ajstrup Strand is close to forest, beach and the big city Aarhus which offers countless op­portu­ni­ties for shopping and cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces. The scenic location is also not to be over­loo­k­ed. It is a beautiful area that invites you to a lot of exciting acti­vi­ties. Close to the house on Norsminde Harbour you can enjoy life on the harbour, visit Fi­ske­hu­set and have a light meal on the pier or you can dine at the famous Norsminde Kro.

The summer house is close to Aarhus and the bus runs several times a day. For example, take the bus into Aarhus and enjoy coffee or lunch at Åen in the middle of the city and then take a walk on Strøget or in Bruuns Galleri with its many shopping op­portu­ni­ties. We also recommend visiting the Aros Art Museum and Mu­sik­hu­set, which are located in the city center.

Odder is only 14 km away and offers bowling and mini golf at "Kuglen & Keglen", a swimming pool at Spektrum, a golf course, Denmark's largest Kvickly a su­per­mar­ket and shopping op­portu­ni­ties on the city charming street.

Legoland, Givskud Zoo, Djurs Som­mer­land, Kat­te­gat­cen­tret and many other major at­tra­ctions are within driving distance from Ajstrup.
