Welcome to a very well main­tai­ned summer house with plenty of room for the whole family.

The house is the perfect home for a cozy and relaxing holiday in a modern setting with family and friends. The house has 3 great bedrooms, large modern kitchen and bathroom with both toilet, shower and spa. The sleeping ac­com­moda­tions are two bedrooms with double beds + loft with a mattress and one bedroom with a double bed and direct access to the bathroom.

The heart of the house and social centre is de­fi­ni­te­ly the bright kitchen which is centrally located in the house with plenty of light from the windows. In the kitchen there is eve­ryt­hing you may need of modern fa­ci­li­ties. There is hobs, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dis­hwas­her and an American fridge with freezer. Directly across from the kitchen, there is a dining area with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the meals of the day together or to gather for board games and a cosy chat.

The living room has a com­fortab­le sofa with a lovely view of the garden and terrace. There are TV in the house with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels. It is also possible to watch your own TV and streaming services via the house's Chro­mecast and your own mobile/tablet.

There is free internet with a speed of 100/100.

In con­nection with the dining area is another small living room with nice seating. The house has floor heating in the entrance hall, kitchen, utility room. There is a wood stove in the living room and electric radiators in the bedrooms. The house utility room has both washing machine and dryer, so you can get your bath towels washed after a long day at the beach.

Outdoor
The garden is cozy and com­ple­te­ly unob­structed with lovely terraces to the east, south and west.
Around the house there is a large wooden terrace with nice garden furniture and sun loungers, where it is easy to find a good place to relax and maybe read a good book. The garden is cosy, so you can stay quite un­dis­tur­bed. The covered part of the terrace is probably where you will spend most of your stay. It has a big dining area and is a great place to stay whatever the weather. The house has a nice grill where you can prepare the daily meals.

The fine beach - with bathing jetty - is only 220 metres from the house. We are sure you will enjoy this beach all year round with long walks, building sand castles and swimming.

Location
The area Ajstrup Strand is close to forest, beach and the big city Aarhus which offers numerous op­portu­ni­ties for shopping and cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces. The scenic location is also not to be un­de­re­sti­ma­ted. It is a beautiful area that calls for a lot of exciting outdoor acti­vi­ties.

Close to the house on Norsminde Harbour you can enjoy life on the harbour, visit Fi­ske­hu­set and have a light meal on the pier or you can dine at the well-known Norsminde Kro.

The summer house is close to Aarhus and the bus runs several times a day. For example, take the bus into Aarhus and enjoy coffee or lunch at Åen in the middle of the city and then take a walk on Strøget or in Bruuns Galleri with its many shopping op­portu­ni­ties. We also recommend visiting Aros Art Museum and Mu­sik­hu­set, which are located in the city centre.

Odder is only 14 km away and offers bowling and mini golf in "Kuglen & Keglen", a swimming pool, golf course, Denmark's largest Kvickly su­per­mar­ket and shopping op­portu­ni­ties on the town's cosy shopping street.

Legoland, Givskud Zoo, Djurs Som­mer­land, Kat­te­gat­cen­tret and many other major at­tra­ctions are within driving distance from Ajstrup.
