Classic cosy Danish holiday house only 600m from beautiful sandy beach

This house, located in one of the most scenic areas in the in­tri­gu­ing UNESCO Global Geopark, invites to the perfect holiday, whether you prefer re­laxa­tion or an active holiday. There is abundance of po­s­si­bi­li­ties in the area, and the beach is one of the best in Odsherred.

Interior

The decor is with mixed furniture and offers genuine holiday house at­mosp­he­re. The kitchen is screened and with a small dining section. The house contains 2 small but good bedrooms with single beds. The lounge is spacious and cosy, with wood burner, TV, sofa bed and a view to the cosy garden, where the deer are crossing regularly. The bathroom is equipped with shower, and the cosy covered terrace invites to wonderful days in all kinds of weather.

Location / the area
The holiday house is located in quiet sur­ro­un­dings, only 600m from perfect sandy beach with dunes and behind them a forest. Nykøbing Sjælland is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, the first UNESCO Geopark in Denmark. Here you find an abundance of exciting sights and fantastic adventure-routes in the unique landscape. Like a walk to Skan­se­ha­ge or around the idyllic Dybesø Lake. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish crabs, while you shop for fresh fish, and you can take the small cosy ferry to Hundested. Rørvig offers many really good re­stau­rants, and during summer, the popular flee market takes place every Sunday morning. In Nykøbing Sjælland there is excellent shopping with several in­de­pen­dent shops selling local produce and art works. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop Glas­Spi­ren for the children, Anneberg Culture Park with art and concerts or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region is certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day at the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children.

Seal safari, seaweed safari or an evening cruise at sea arranged by the local nature school are certainly also acti­vi­ties to be highly recom­men­ded.
