Modern spacious and great holiday house close to best sandy beach by Nykøbing

This spacious family holiday house is located at the beautiful Ve­ster­lyng, right outside Nykøbing in one of the most at­tra­cti­ve holiday house areas, with the most fantastic sandy bathing beach by Kattegat. Here you are within walking distance to the market town with the many shopping po­s­si­bi­li­ties, a cosy pe­de­stri­an street and harbour en­viron­ment and only a few hundred metres from a child-friendly bathing beach. The area offers many po­s­si­bi­li­ties for walks and bicycle rides and is a good basis for an active holiday.

Welcome inside

The dining table is the centre point in the house and placed by the long window setting with terrace doors that can open in full length towards the terrace. Here you may gather the family for brunch after a good night’s sleep, before you go exploring the area. The open kitchen is placed right across from it, and there are also bar stools, so you can be several people eating or just having a cosy time with a smoothie. In the evening, when you return from the day’s ex­pe­ri­en­ces, you can relax in the corner sofa. If you need a massage, the spa bath in the house is ready.

Enjoy life outside

The big plot and the spacious terrace are calling for outdoor life, and you have the po­s­si­bi­li­ty to sit down to dinner on the south-facing as well as on the west-facing terrace and enjoy the long light evenings, when you have put the steaks on the outdoor barbecue. If you feel like it, the garden also gives the op­portu­ni­ty for a quick little football match.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

From Fe­ri­e­part­ner Odsherred we recommend this tour: Drive to Klint 6km west of the holiday house at Ve­ster­lyng. Park your car by the re­stau­rant Det Vilde Køkken and take the 4km long walk in Klint hills. The area was created by limestone and flint from the un­der­gro­und that the ice had trans­por­ted up here from the south-east. When the ice melted, Klint lay as an island in the Stone Age Sea, sur­ro­un­ded by moraine islands with rocks from the Nordic mountains. From the top of the hills you have a view of the island Hesselø and the entire northern coast of Odsherred. The top of the hills is called Kl­in­teb­jerg, and from here there is a fantastic view and fine walking paths around the 35m high cliff. The beach is very stony, and the area is renowned as a good angling spot for - amongst others – garfish in the season.
