Between Grenaa and Bønnerup, in the idyllic Selkær Mølle, you’ll find this authentic holiday retreat – a classic Danish holiday home that exudes coziness and charm. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by a warm and inviting at­mosp­he­re. The entryway leads you into a cozy living room, perfect for gathering and unwinding. Here, you can settle into com­fortab­le furniture and let the soothing crackle of the wood-burning stove lull you into a sense of re­laxa­tion while enjoying the quiet moments of your holiday. The kitchen, which is openly connected to the living room, is fun­ctio­nal and well-equipped, ready to support delicious meals filled with joy. The bathroom is bright and pleasant, featuring a shower.

The holiday home has three bedrooms, offering space for the whole family to find rest after a day filled with adventure. Two bedrooms are equipped with double beds, while the third is a cozy room with bunk beds, sure to be a hit with the younger guests. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, there’s a charming annex ready to be used, perfect for the warmer seasons when extra sleeping space is needed.

Remember that pets are not allowed in the house.

Outside, a wonderful and private natural setting unfolds. The grounds are ideal for playing, ball games, and re­laxa­tion. A spacious terrace with quality outdoor furniture sets the scene for warm summer evenings, where you can gather around the firepit to bake twist bread while the evening slowly descends, and you share stories of the day's ad­ven­tu­res.


Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Selkær Mølle is situated in a peaceful and family-friendly area, sur­ro­un­ded by forests and fields, just a short drive from both Bønnerup Strand and Grenaa Strand. Nature is always close by here, and it’s not uncommon to spot deer, pheasants, and hares in the nearby fields. Djursland offers a wide array of at­tra­ctions just around the corner – Djurs Som­mer­land, Kat­te­gat­cen­tret, Skan­di­na­visk Dyrepark, and Munkholm Zoo are just some of the popular family-friendly desti­na­tions. For fishing ent­hu­si­asts, the coasts of Northern Djursland offer endless po­s­si­bi­li­ties.

Just 10 km away is Stenvad, where you can visit the narrow-gauge railway museum and even take a ride on old trains. If you drive 8 km to Bønnerup, you’ll be "recharged" with its cozy and maritime at­mosp­he­re. The town sits beau­ti­ful­ly by the sea, with charming old fis­her­men's houses and boats that are a delight to the eye. The harbor is a lovely spot with benches and barbecue areas, and there are great options for enjoying delicious food at local re­stau­rants. In general, Djursland is full of things to see and ex­pe­ri­en­ce, and if you're craving some city life, you're only about 50 km from both Aarhus and Randers.
