Cozy, nostalgic summer cottage 700 meters from Bønnerup Beach - 4 adults, 2 children, and a dog
House-ID: 8584Welcome inside Here awaits you a true summer cottage that hasn't changed much since it was built in 1978. The house is somewhat primitive but nostalgic, special, and incredibly cozy, giving you an authentic summer cottage experience that brings back lovely memories of childhood summer vacations in the 70s. There's a room with a double bed, a bunk bed room for the children, and a small bathroom with a shower. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are one room with a steep staircase to the loft, from where the sea can be glimpsed. It's nicely furnished with cozy bamboo furniture and mattresses that can be unfolded instead of using the 2 good sleeping places in the annex.
Enjoy life outside Outdoor life is incredibly pleasant - a large lawn where you can compete in "kick the can" or rounders. A large bonfire pit where the day can end perfectly with roasted marshmallows, twist bread, and a good glass of wine, to the sound of crackling wood. And finally, the secluded terrace where both sun and shade can be enjoyed - not to mention the joy of firing up the grill and eagerly waiting for the coals to heat up so that holiday food can be placed on it, and you can finally enjoy the fragrant result.
Get up close to the local attractions The area around Bønnerup Strand offers beautiful nature, peaceful surroundings, and access to a lovely bathing beach. You can buy groceries at the local store, and there are small cozy shops around. Walks along the coast, fishing, and other outdoor activities await you. Have lunch at the harbor or buy a freshly caught fish to take home. The harbor is bustling with activity with its beautiful marina and fishing harbor, and there's an annual summer festival here. The beach is one of the most child-friendly beaches with shallow water and a sandy bottom. It's a half-hour drive to Northern Europe's largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, with rides for the whole family, and likewise a half-hour drive to the old market town of Grenaa. In Grenaa, you'll find, among other things, the Kattegat Centre, where you can see sharks and penguins, and from Grenå harbor, there are daily sailings to the small island of Anholt and to Sweden. Enjoy your packed lunch at Sangstrup Klint – it's incredibly beautiful, and it's possible to find fossils and sea urchins or explore Meilgaard and Sostrup Castle. There are many possibilities on Djursland.
