The highlight of the house is the new sunroom—spacious and inviting, perfect for quality time and re­laxa­tion. With large windows, light wooden walls, and modern furniture, it is an ideal retreat, whether you're enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding with a good book in the evening. The "main" living room is equally de­light­ful, offering warmth and comfort from the pellet stove.

The three bedrooms are designed with restful sleep in mind. One room has a double bed, while the other two have single beds, ensuring the whole family gets a good night's rest after a day full of ad­ven­tu­res. If you're bringing guests, the annex provides extra space with a double bed, bunk beds, and its own bathroom—a perfect private area for visitors, older children, or a small family.

Enjoy life outside

Step outside to a large and private terrace with quality outdoor furniture, where you can savor delicious holiday meals and relax under the open sky. The spacious, flat garden provides plenty of room for play and ball games. Children can swing high enough to feel but­ter­flies in their stomachs, create delicious sandcakes in the sandbox, and the whole family can play football and score world-class goals in the garden's football nets. Just 400 meters from the house, you’ll find a bonfire area and a shelter.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The house is located in a beautiful natural area in northern Djursland. The beach at Store Sjørup is one of Djursland’s most unique bathing spots. Near the coast, the seabed resembles a fjord, but as you wade through the shallow waters, you'll reach sandbanks and the vast open sea stret­ching to the horizon. The beach can almost be compared to a tidal flat, with clear di­stin­ctions between high and low tide, tidal channels, and small saltwater pools.

Ap­proxi­ma­te­ly 10 km from the house lies the small ferry terminal at Udbyhøj, featuring a charming marina and excellent fishing op­portu­ni­ties. From here, a cable-drawn ferry takes you to the Randers side. If you take the ferry, you’ll find a beautiful white sandy beach with a Blue Flag rating and some of Denmark’s cleanest bathing waters.

If ferries aren’t your thing, we recommend visiting Fjellerup, just 20 minutes from the house. Here, you can enjoy a lovely beach and treat yourself to an ice cream at what is said to be Denmark’s best waffle shop.

For more nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, the Coast and Fjord Center is a great choice. Other recom­men­ded at­tra­ctions include Gl. Estrup Manor, the ancient burial mounds at Tustrup, and Scan­di­navia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land.
