And as the day winds down, treat yourself to a relaxing spa ex­pe­ri­en­ce in the spacious bathroom with both a spa and sauna. When it's time to rest, three inviting bedrooms await you. Two of them are equipped with double beds, and the third bedroom is a fun bunk bed room. If the slightly older children fancy "moving out" a bit during the holiday, they can stay in the annex, where there are also bunk beds.

Enjoy life outside: Outside, there's a wonderful world to explore. On the de­light­ful, secluded grounds, there's a large lawn sur­ro­un­ding the entire house, perfect for play and ball games. Grill delicious meals on the terrace or soak up the sun - there are several lovely corners. And when it's time to relax, you can sink into a hammock while listening to the sounds of nature around you. For the more active guests, there's a tram­po­li­ne inviting for jumping and swings bringing back memories of childhood joys. In the evening, gather around the bonfire where you can grill tasty snacks and enjoy each other's company under the stars. All in all, the cottage offers.

Get close to local ex­pe­ri­en­ces: Fjellerup Strand is an idyllic, old fishing village in an at­tra­cti­ve holiday area along the coast of Nord­djursland. The beach is extremely child-friendly and has the coveted blue flag, shallow water, and mostly sandy bottom. The nature in and around Fjellerup is im­pres­si­ve and varied with a network of hiking trails and smaller roads perfect for bike rides. Spring­ti­me brings golden rapeseed fields and the most beautiful, newly sprung light green beech forests. Along the coast, there are excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing. Some of the nearby at­tra­ctions around Fjellerup include Mejlgård Castle, the dolmens at Tustrup, and Gl. Estrup Castle - and yes, Fjellerup is also home to Denmark's best ice cream parlor, famous for its giant ice cream wafers. It's about a fifteen-minute drive to Northern Europe's largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, and about a half-hour drive to the charming market town of Grenaa, where you can shop, dine, and visit penguins, seals, and sharks at the Kattegat Centre.
